Edited by: Nullity on 01/07/2011 09:25:13 I'm realistically canceling my two accounts if I don't get an acceptable answer out of the CSM meeting by Monday. Is that "being realistic"?

Actually they said something like, it was not their, then, current intention to do so. I seriously doubt that a company would ever bind itself to a specific promise, unless it felt that such a promise was in it's financial interest.

Editing to add this: We do not have plans to go microtransaction with EVE.
Originally by: CCP Shadow No. There are no microtransaction plans, whatsoever. I wrote "in this case" because this extended downtime was an unusual situation. It's not every day we relocate our servers to a new facility.

Indeed, their plans did...
What I did not see in your supplied quotes was a statement saying that EVE would never have MT.
He said their business model wasn't changing. How much more explicit could he have been? The drop off in respect for their customers has been huge.

Dev alt, botter, horrible person that should DIAF detected!! No, seriously, that'll be their argument for your reasoning.
Actually, how I read his post was someone desperately reading into Shadow's pretty blunt statement to make it sound like CCP wasn't promising what they were promising. Not a horrible person so much as one clinging to a reality that's slipped away (or is about to).
