Originally by: darth solo ahhhh, but JOE.. im my experience scorps are usually the most punished battleship in fleet fights.. most gang target callers go for the scorps in case of ECM.. a scorp fitted for ECM and targetted by multiple ships dies quick. where as the raven, or other ships usually have defence and have a higher possibility to allign for warp..
so, as i see what u are trying to say, ships destroyed doesnt really give us a good understanding on what fleets are made up off.
For example apocs mostly carry a good tank, making them mostly last on the target list.

This is, of course, because that the first target on the list are those that cause the greatest damage. Scorpions are, possibly, the most damaging ships in the game, thus get targeted first. While the reader tries to find a satisfying enough comment to post to me, explaining that a Scorpion does even less damage than a Dominix, I will urge you to read on instead.
A Scorpion does most damage, bacuse it is capable of denying you of doing your own damage. Effectively, the Scorpion thus are often capable of cutting the damage from a battleship fleet by about 1500 damage per second! (That's two battleships) An Armageddon deals a lot of damage, and is most often the ship doing the bringing down of ships. This often mean that they are the second target. Or if you like, the first target for electronic warfare.
By comparison, Ravens and Apocalypse are, on avarage, pretty low damage dealers against battleships. They are very effective at tanking, while both can shoot while doing so. This means that they are a lesser threat, and so will be called last among the battleships. Not seldom the enemy tries to get you to attack these targets first, as this will mean that the more damaging ships will then get more shots in.
And then we have the Megathron, which in fleet combat is extremely lacking. Because an MWD makes you increadibly easy to hit, even trying to get into the enemy fleet without a warp-in point is suicide. A Megathron is often a high priority target because it is costly and that it is easy to kill. This is the other end of the spectrum, where a kill is at the end of a day a kill. At the same time, with a warp-in point, a Megathron can deal intensive damage to any and all long range ships. This is, however, the lesser part of why a Megathron is a high priority target. In fleet battles, the same principle can be applied to Dominix.
Interesting enough, had a Megathron (assuming blaster setup, by the way) had capacity for electronic warfare defence (which it sadly lacks due to strong issues with survival versus speed and damage), it would have been a most capable electronic warfare hunter. --
