          Just wondering,
I scanned down this site in 0.8 sec space. After entering the gate in my Cruiser, I got gunned down in 5 seconds, not a chance to ecape (pc was still loading the scenery, so a bit laggy). Multiple cruisers + a load of turrets there. Is it normal to find sites this unforgiving in 0.8 sec space? I know EVE is supposed to be a cold, dark and harsh place, but this seems a bit overkill.
Anyways, let me know if this is normal, and if I should google any deadspace complexes before entering the gate to see if I have a chance of survival :)

I succesfully ran this site with a sleipnir and got a cynabal bpc out of it.
a drake or something similar tanked can aswell. BS are not allowed to get into this plex tho I think.

Edited by: CircleNein on 01/07/2011 22:11:15 Yep, those sites are fairly common in highsec exploration. Googling the site is useful if you've never seen it before, it can save a lot of time and isk. A lot of sites have recommended ships for the complex, as well as a list of enemies and potential drops. |

ok, thanks for the info, I figured sec status was also a difficulty indicator, guess I was wrong :)
Can anyone explain to me why there wasn't any DED x/10 level for this site? I see them occasionally on other deadspace complexes I find. A difficulty warning might be nice.

The entire site is listed on google, second result, with "EVE ONLINE" slapped on it. It's your fault. ------------------------------- When I mitigate risks in business, they call me financially sound. When I mitigate risk in PVP, they call me a coward.

I'm still rich, and they're still dead. |

It's not a DED Deadspace Complex. I think the 'Vigil' site is set up more to be completed with a couple of Battle Cruisers fleeted. It can also be completed solo in Command Ships and Tech 3 Cruisers. Just gotta save the triggers for last.

Always a good idea to check google or the Evelopedia for info on sites you haven't done.
If you don't want to know any specifics about the site but want to know the highest level of ship class allowed, can access the gate leading into the site while in Pod to get a message list of all ship class allowed.
Usually the highest ship class listed is a good indicator of the site difficulty. Bear in mind that some sites are a bit over-rated when it comes to ship class allowed.
