The minute they breach their new promise take all your marbles and play somewhere else. Simple as that. Give these folks the chance to fix this and earn your trust back.

they don't have crustal balls, much to the delight of the local ladies, so they can not predict the future. they can only talk about their current and foreseeable plans.
Do try to have a little perspective.

Then please move on or remain vigilant when "facts happen". Tinfoil hatting it at this point will solve nothing.
They can do NOTHING to satisfy you at this point.

I noticed the wording too. Aside from the "no plans"/"will not", they also referred only to "game breaking" products/services only, which is another grey area. However, on the CSM statement they use the term "game-affecting", which is more towards what most players would be hoping for.
On the other hand, it is difficult to say "we will NEVER do xyz" because circumstances will always change in the future. It's never clear. Or, perhaps the words were just innocently chosen without aiming to deceive anyone.

So, you are unsatisfied when it appeared they intended to introduce P2W goods.
Now you are unsatisfied when they promised that MT isn't going to happen in the foreseeable future. No plans means no plans, not "We plan to later plan the introduction of MT goods."
Tell me, what would have been a satisfactory answer for you?
Nothing?
Right, well stop stinking up our forums with your dribble.

To be fair to CCP on this.............if they decided to actually sell a play to win item it would probably take them 24-36 months from now to get it into the game. So 'no plans' currently probably means 2-3 years.

"It is CCPæs plan that the Noble Exchange (NeX store) will be used for the sale of vanity items only. There are no plans, and have been no plans, as per previous communication and CSM meetings, to introduce the sale of game breaking items or enhancements in the NeX store"

Last time they made the same statement it took less then a year to do a 180 and implement it... That year included redesigning WIS, developing new items, new currency, new exchange rates, new item descriptions, testing, ect... Lets not forget all the marketting folks doing their research ($1000 pants anyone?). So in reality the statement is only good for 2-3 months tops....

So put your money where your mouth is and quit for real instead of the faux quit of the unsub.
Write an email to customer service and request that they discontinue your account immediately. They are obligated to do so by the terms of the EULA.
Or are you too chicken to actually do what you threaten to do?

MT is already here professor. "no plans" means that could change tomorrow when they start planning on how to introduce p2w
are you people so farkin dense that you can't see that their answer is no answer? they might as well just said "you don't need to worry about that right now"
Id be happy with an answer, if CCP was actually fearless enough to take a position on the matter.

Read your owns screenshots. At no time did CCP promise that they would never introduce microtransactions. They simply said each time that they had no plans, which is almost the same thing. I, for one, am quite satisfied with the knowledge that CCP does not plan to sell non-vanity items.

Be thankful that there are currently no plans for P2W. Whether that remains the situation in the future will always be a looming issue. No corporate management currently in place can say what the future will be. But, I am satisfied for the time being that we are safe from P2W.
For now, relax and enjoy the weight that has been lifted, if even for the time being.

The "no plans for microtransactions" statement was obviously a lie when it was made. There is simply no way they went from "no plans" to "planned, developed, and implemented" in less than a year.

Never said they promised... However I am gonna paste in CCP's statement from the dev blog and you tell me if they aren't pretty much the same..lol

Just pointing out the recycled statement. Enjoy your satisfaction till the next threadtitan is born becuase CCP PLANS have changed!

Dude you're right about that part. The store did come within a year, but what is in the store is terrible crap. None of it looks remotely good. I'm sure the "real fashion designers" were thinking of a bland future where every piece of clothing looks the same when designing it. Game changing items would actually need some testing and what not to make sure they really work. It would take them years to add something new at this point. Plus they would need a ship model which would take CCP at least a full year. Then the custom skin thing for it to justify the 750,000 Aurums it costs would take them another 2 years.
