The servers are seperate for a reason.
Like Wow over in china - the chinese govt wants rules and restrictions put into place. One of those being the blocking of all outside-of-country access to the servers.
They dont want us and our freedoms going over there giving their people ideas/dreams or the realisation that it is possible to live you're life without being treated like a slave laborer or sub human.

America is the only country in the industrialized world that doesn't provide universal health care for all its citizens. Wrap that around your tiny little mind before you talk about giving other people ideas/dreams about living their life without being treated like such-and-such. Thank-you.
Hey, you idiots voted in obmama. Not me :)
Is all you're country's core infastructure (Telephone/internet lines - Power companies, Public Transport, Water suppliers) Privately owned by oversea's companies where they're free to charge you whatever the hell the hell they want?
No?
I'd happily pay for my own healthcare (hell, i still pay for the government healthcare, it comes out of Tax, dummy - and if you diddnt pay them enough, or visit the doctor too much they demand the money back) in exchange for having my government own/run its core infastructure so the prices can be regulated to something affordable.
Try paying $750 per 3mths power for a 2bdroom apartment where all you run is you're pc's and the washing machine.
p.s - The chinese get shot/killed/carted off by government employed fearmongers if they DARE speak against their government. You have it easy, wuss.

Originally by: digitalwanderer Why aren't there free elections that the entire population can cast their vote then?....Or even an official opposition party to vote for in elections?
So you saying, for example, US have free elections? When you mostly can choose only between two evils and finally still will be in bank slavery? With this electoral college you can prevent war by choosing other Pres or he can start the wars and say STFU to the senate, despite all pre-election mumbling? Free elections is bull**** in any country. Only social actions matters, and from my point of view China have excellent progress.
That's exactly why the last 3 elections i drew a big ***** and some... not nice... words about the government on the voting form.
The lesser-known parties are allowed/DO sell out their votes to the big parties. IE if i were to vote for the greens - We all know they wont win or come close - but all their votes go to the party of their choice (generaly whom they decide to back at the time)
China has excelent progress?
You do realise every citizen's calls are listend into by computer. Try calling someone in china and say the word "Protest" and see what happens. In English or Chinese.
Dare you to send a friend or family member that lives in China a text message about the concept of voting in a different leadership. You'd have sentenced them to Death.
Also - they feed their poor plastic. YUMMY! They're trying to get us to eat it over here too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uw65n3ajZu4
But to those who've lived in china saying that it's great. I dont deny that it would be nice living over there. Unless you want to talk about censorship, polotics, or any personal views you have on how you think the world should be.
