China doesn't have open elections that every citizen can participate. China doesn't even have an official opposition party. Don't even think of protesting in public(tianamen square revolt anyone). You can be arrested and go to jail without even going to trial or officially accused of anything. Censorship aplenty on the internet and they recently launched their own search engine, and CCP launched their own server there precisely for that reason.
Never confuse democracy with capitalism and an open market, as their very much their own thing...

You know china is called the "Peoples REPUBLIC of China" right? And that Socialisim is not the same as Communisim... right?
Unless you're american then Communisim/Socialisim/****sim is all the same to you.
Why aren't there free elections that the entire population can cast their vote then?....Or even an official opposition party to vote for in elections?

So you saying, for example, US have free elections? When you mostly can choose only between two evils and finally still will be in bank slavery? With this electoral college you can prevent war by choosing other Pres or he can start the wars and say STFU to the senate, despite all pre-election mumbling? Free elections is bull**** in any country. Only social actions matters, and from my point of view China have excellent progress.
I wasn't commenting on the quality of the choice or that it's always the same tired options, but it is there none the less, and you can also openly voice your opinion publically in the USA and other democratic countries, and even using social media to spread that opinion without risking going to jail for it without even having a trial in China last time i checked....Like it or hate it, basic human rights is always a sore point in china....Democracy it isn't, not even close.

Ok, everything you described there has happened & can happen to you in the USA. Everything. Including getting arrested and going to Goal without a trial & without even knowing what you were charged with, that's right no Habeas Corpus in the USA, off to GitMo & you will then be tortured. So STFU.
You mean that patriot act law put into place by George bush?....Thank god i live in Canada.
