Hey All
The CQ is currently a W.I.P right? so and CCP has developed it to increase immersion ok? But every time you dock realistically you should not have to get out of your ship each time to unload cargo and get resupplied.
But i also do not think "CQ" needs to a feature to be disabled if they are to bring back the hanger why do they not just have two buttons on the enter station screen one for "CQ" and one for "Hanger" then we can load whichever environment we need at that time?.
Like IÆm an industrialist so my day in game would go as follows
08:30 - Wake up in "CQ" get my interstellar pants on 08:40 - Jump in my pod and grab the ol hulk covetor (whatever your fancy might be) 09:00 - Hit up the local belt and munch some roids for a while 10:00 - Head back to station and prepare to dock on the enter station load screen select the "hanger" option and load into station hanger and unload 10:30 - undock and repeat. 13:00 - head back to station and prepare to dock selct the "CQ" and hop out of the ol POD stretch the legs grab a Quafe lite and bag o chips and watch a holoreel for a hour and head back to the belt after my bite to eat. ETC ETC ETC
This Brings us more into the EVE universe, At the moment it feel too forced to be pushed into CQ each time i dock and it takes away from the overall experience.
It would also help any lower spec machines that can handle the heavy load of "CQ" right now by giving the player CHOICE.
I think this will allow CCP to have their cake and eat it too! :)
It would level a few complaint am i right?
Just a thought

Because it makes sense, it will never happen.

You realize "common sense" is not a part of CCP's vocabulary...right? |

To quoteparaphrase Einstein:
Common sense is subject to relativity. Think of common sense as a flat rubber sheet. Now imagine alcohol, management, greed, and stupidity as dense metal balls sitting on the rubber sheet. The rubber sheet (representing common sense) will become deformed and warped as the heavy balls sink into the rubber sheet, creating pits or wells.
The closer you get to these wells of dense/drunk/management/greed/stupidity, the more likely you are to be pulled into these pits/wells. As you fall into them, you'll find that common sense becomes stretched and almost unrecognizable until you are finally absorbed into the dense mass of drunk/management/greed/stupidity at the bottom of the well/pit.

It's only the logical choice however CCP has an odd stance towards logic.....

Heh Yeah its just something simple that would waylay a few concerns people have and help to ease users into CQ. I donÆt pretend to think its a simple change it would take a while to implement.
This is also a opportunity to update the old hanger a bit (not that it needs much).
The main issue i see arising from my idea (probably not the first to think of it) is people do not want another step between them and getting in the station. But i believe it would be a decent step in the right direction.
I Like the "CQ" idea it just seems undercooked. They should have shown patience and released this once they had a "CQ" for each race ready to go. and the quarters you stay in would depend on the type of station you are in be it Minmatar Gallante or Amarr.
So i do see the concern in EVE moving to a more Sims in space style of game but that is well off in the future and will be integrated well into game overtime(Just a little better than the last expansion).
I just hope they donÆt forsake the space side of EVE n favour of designing me a new tableside lamp for "CQ" .
