you have a battle, your side wins, you dont get to loot the enemy wrecks do to the buzzards grabbing all the loot.
IMO if you are at war with a corp/alliance you kill some, you should get kill rights as the corp of the victims on loot stealers. I want the can thieves to keep stealing, they just need to have risk as normally the losing party leaves the wrecks and are no longer on the field. |

I have to agree that wreck looting during wars should have a kill rights effect for involved parties when stolen by buzzards.
Taking it further salvaging should similar effect in all cases. |

I don't get it... almost 3 full days and only a couple responses?
If someone had come in here and complained of ninja salvagers in their mission, the thread would have exploded into multiple pages of elitists proclaiming that there's nothing wrong with it and that the mission runner needs to stop being a carebear, get some friends, etc, etc, etc.
aside from that, I agree with you.

most of the time you dont even get a chance to loot anything while at war. its looted before the battle is over since they dont have to worry about being shot. people losing arent worried with the loot guys as they are trying to save their ship, people winning are trying to complete the battle.
both sides should have loot rights. not saying vultures cannot loot battle wrecks, they just need to be able to be shot while doing it.

Hang on, are we just talking about Buzzards? Someone mentioned command ships too? Vultures... is this infectious, or just confined to Squids?
Confused.
Why should you get kill rights? For what? It's not your wreck as such and the modules inside are flagged as belonging to the original owner still. If you are in a large battle many people are opportunist, if they flash red for loot grabbing, shoot them. If they don't, then shoot them anyway.

why should you get kill rights? well you war dec that corp/alliance so you pay a fee to dec them and you created the can.
question is why not have kill rights?

Every profession in eve has a drawback, except can loot stealers. you can say well the cans corps can attack. no normally they are dead, hence the can.
If you partake in creating the can, you should be able to shoot loot theives.

i don't agree with this (partially), 2 friendly corps could war dec each other and then bait people with wrecks and people wont know who can kill them without concord coming in. yeah buzzards looting everything isnt fair, but imo this could make things 10 times worse for people salvaging wrecks.
otherwise, the looting part i totally agree with!

you dont get aggro for salvaging, and no matter what looting a can that doesnt belong to you get the aggro timer anyways, all i am saying is expand it to the ones that create a can. it wouldnt matter if two friendly corps did the looting. you would know that you can be shot by both sides.
