Well... I see where a large portion of the EVE community voiced their wants and wishes in regards to the ship spin.

I've also noticed once the heat lifted there seems to be little mention of it. Noticed last two patches mentioned nothing of it as well. Guess CCP figures we'll eventually get use to staring at the dumb boring ass door or actually accept the CQ if it's shoved down our throat long enough.

Meh... anywhoo! I renewed my subs with plexes this time. Guess I'll give them a month to return ship spinning then I'll move along.

Yes... ship spinning is that damn important to me for anyone wondering. Life forces many things down my throat without me having a say. Be damn if I'm gonna pay for a game to do the same. =) Peace!

 Still waiting CCP.

You should have used those plexes for monocles, peasant.

It will probably take longer than a month, but CCP committed during the emergency summit two weeks ago to revisit ship spinning in a future update. They apparently didn't understand the visceral attachment pod pilots have to our ships. Originally by: OHU812 Well... You can read some CCP Zulu weasel-words on this subject in the stikied thread about a press-conference.

I prefer spending my isk on more useful items, but thanks for the suggestion. Humble ol' me only has the isk for the basics of EVE, no fancy stuff.

I only have me ol' beat up covetor with a K'billion million lightyears on the hull. Reminds me... I need to get the repair shop to weld that crack near the windshield.

Gotta keep pounding those roids for me overlords.

Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford me a new shiney Hulk! Probably lose it mining in a belt one day. Some rich punk kid from the overlord community will come and gank it for the lols.

Oh well, gotta go now. I need to get back to banging at the roids. My kids will need new shirts for the upcoming school year. I want them to feel accepted while studying at Kador-Prime. The in-crowd cliche. You do know how that works, right?

Leave the game and come back in maybe six months. That would be the absolute soonest time CCP will add anything worthy back into the game.

I for one don't appreciate ship spinning being added back in as a cheap handout.

It makes sense that you wouldn't necessarily leave your ship just because you docked in a station. Unless we'll be forced to do market trading while in CQ only then ship spinning makes purfect sense as far as in-game story context.

Of course as usual they managed to completely ignore the point of why people wanted "ship spinning" back,.,, it wasn't for the spinning, it was for the faster dock/undock to resupply and to avoid the immersion breaking nonsense of always exiting ones ship when it is unlikely a pod pilot would want to disembark get cleaned up and dressed every time they wanted to change something on their ship's fitting.

Ship Spinning is much cooler than the whole CQ, thats why...

It¦s kinda ******ed that you have to leave your ship (with CQ) EVERY TIME you dock.

**** CQ, get me my old hangar back!

I know this is an old thread, and perhaps an old idea..

But I would like ship spinning back, as they promised.

I dual box, and running captains quarters even on 1 account just doesnt work with my gtx260.

Im not looking forward to upgrading my computer if i do not have to..

how hard can it be to add the option in the menu to switch between ship spinning/cq/wall.
I am a network guy, development works downstairs in my business. So Im not an expert on how the code development plays out..

But i pay my share for this game and then some for plexes. For what its worth thats my $0.02

Why is spinning your ship when in-station so important? Other than excuses like 'well it's always been there so I want it back', are there any actual reasons? I played Eve before Incarna so I do remember what it was like to spin my ship around. But to claim that it was a driving force behind why you play Eve and that you will stop playing Eve without it sounds more like a child crying that they can't live without the teddy bear which mom just threw away. Seriously, what is the big deal?

Undock, you can spin in space and you shouldn't be cowering in the station anyway

It is something to do for people who are afraid to undock and have really crappy computers

Ship spinning was not an integral part of the game, I honestly wish they never reintroduce it.

Can also open the fitting window and spin the ship there...but aren't there more exciting things to do when you're logged in? Ship spinning is to EvE what /dance is to WoW...so sad...
