So, I'm confused as to which implant setup to get, but i do want an Omega one in the mix. I fly Caldari navy ravens now til i get my golem and get cap ships.
So i wanted to know which Tech 2 (pirate) HG implant setup i should choose for flying Caldari ships? My ships usually have massive shield points to them. Sorry if my wording of my question is noobie.

Don't forget to get the missile ROF/DMG implants as well. It's good and all being able to tank an army, but I prefer being able to kill them.

Is the ship intended for doing level 4s in high sec?
If so, the best implants to get would be either Talons or Snakes.
Your CNR is easily capable of tanking any level 4 mission. The biggest problem you will face in Caldari space is being jammed by Guristas; increasing your sensor strength will be the biggest real advantage you can give yourself.
If you're missioning outside Caldari space and not expecting many missions vs Guristas, then the largest factor in reducing your mission completion speed will be the time it takes to physically move your ship to gates, picking up mission items, etc. So you might as well get Snakes.
In all seriousness, You dont need to drop a couple of bill on Crystals: get the Talons and spend a fraction of the ISK you just saved on a moderately good deadspace shield booster, like a Pith B-type XL. With this, your CNR is overtanked for level 4s.
Malcanis' Law: Whenever a mechanics change is proposed on behalf of "new players", that change is always to the overwhelming advantage of richer, older players. |

Had to fix that for you. Knew something looked too good to be true, though I do wish it was another 5% dmg, ohh would that make my NH even more fun.

I agree that using shield implants on a mission CNR is as useless as **** on a tree. I fly one and it tanks missions fine as is. . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.

Nah it has it's use.
Ever heard of mission runners getting suicide-ganked for their expensive shield boosters and amplifiers? (happens more often than you think)
With a crystal set you can setttle for a ship that doesn't attract attention because of weaker modules.

Yup that's it right there, that's the only reason why I would ever use a crystal set. But I don't think I will ever have to, I fly a nighthawk passive tanking it will do the job, which makes me happy I trained up for this and not the raven. (one of several reasons actually)

Those plus a set of lg crystals will improve dps and allow you free up a mid slot(ie shield boost amp) for another tp = more dps. The rest can be spent on pimping your ship with faction/deadspace mods and working up to a golem.

Yes, but not most complex mods. My setup would be a negative profit gank even if it dropped the SB. . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.
