Being someone who's tried to RP on the side of the Sanshas since the very beginning of the live events, this is one fact of the whole Sansha storyline that disappoints me greatly. Those who fight the Sansha get fair amounts of content themselves, yet those who have tried to support the sansha have been utterly ignored. Declaring your support for the Sanshas in the early live events prevented them from shooting you in nearly all occasions, presumably due to devs who actually cared about interaction in these events.
In the newest wave of events, any level of pro-sansha interaction has been completely thrown out the window. The Devs send rats after anyone, even people like myself who have supported the Sanshas early on and continue to do so, publicly in many cases.
For a series of events that are meant to promote interaction and storyline progression, it really feels quite static.

That's because the Chinese prison slave laborers now employed by CCP to fill out the live events with bodies don't give a f**k.

seems pretty clear to me from an RP and storyline perspective that Mr. Kuvakei hates capsuleers in general, anyone not implanted and under his personal enslavement is fair game and a threat to his plans. He doesn't trust anyone outside of True Power and affiliate NPC corps.
Instead of whining like a spurned puppy that his master kicks him, stand up tall and fight back.
Sansha has revealed his true loyalty after all - to himself alone. |

Friend of mine was a supporter from early on too... back then he'd get heads ups on when the events were gonna happen.
He even got one of his petitioned losses reimbursed in an RP fashion. Kuvakei himself delivered the replacement ship to him at a safespot. Stuff like that doesn't seem to be happening any more :(

In sandbox games like EVE is supposed to be, it's the actions of the players that matter, not the actions of a few bored, unimaginative and incompetent devs. It would be great if they would stop peeing in the sandbox. That you are mad that you didn't get an in-game advantage from devs peeing in the sandbox is of no concern to me.
If you need a roleplay justification for why the sansha rats are attacking you, pretend that sansha has a minimum IQ threshold of 80 for the supporters it chooses to recognize. hth

Could've fooled me, I went to angel cartel space in a frigate and got ganked about three times when I went there just once.
For some reason the PvPers really get off killing harmless noobs in cheap frigates, the only way I can see it working is being part of an alliance or having a main in high sec that feeds the alt. ISK.
By the way, I love how people on this bloody game always accuse me of not playing it even when I'm running missions and salvaging as I type.

How was your ship fit? Where did you try to enter 0.0 and at what time? If all you did was get ganked at an entry point 3 times you really haven't been making an effort. ~~~

I am asking you for information so I can do just that.
EDIT: And as for ridiculous conclusions, failing to get into 0.0 on one occasion and using that as a basis to claim it is impossible to PVE in 0.0 is what I would call ridiculous.

I started off with a basic atron frigate because I knew I was going to lose it, went to an angel cartel level 1 agent on the edge of the 0.0 space where low sec was, I then got ganked, didn't know about the way the market was in 0.0 so I was immediately twice when I travelled around to gather stuff up.
Now I suspect you're going to tell me I'm an idiot and I should wait for a battleship before I even think about running 0.0 missions >_>
p.s. it happened 3 times, you really are jumping to conclusions

Battleships are the last thing you want to be flying in 0.0
Here is a thread discussing how to get into 0.0. If you have further questions a post on warfare and tactics would probably prove helpful, provided you don't whine about it being 'impossible'.
I have to ask, if you aren't going to be going to 0.0 to join buddies, why would you feel the need to run missions in 0.0 anyway (they aren't much better reward wise than high-sec and mostly the same content). If you want to run missions for a pirate corp then cool but you really ought to have better reasons for going. High end exploration sites and Havens are two very good reasons.
If you absolutely can't avoid choke points you can always sneak in in a covert-ops and find a route to deep 0.0 via wormholes.

Strange, your name isn't familiar at all. I guess you're an alt?
Anyway, I know your pain, and so does the crew of my old Megathron.
Leadership amongst the capsuleer supporters is fairly useless. The main dude, Ghost Hunter, stole the alliance we founded together after being a bit of an ass. The ex-main girl, IzzyChan, is pretty much a child. I have no idea how either of them landed in a position to handle it, nor am I sure on how CCP decided to roll with them. My communication with CCP event staff was not returned, leaving little to no room for alternative, cuter leadership.
It sucks that there was nothing for pro-Sansha types, but remember that these events were run for the purpose of marketing. This is pretty much why I have few kind words to say about CCP Soundwave :p - gallenteprime.com |
