Idris Helion University of Caille Gallente Federation 73	Posted - 2012.09.18 17:38:00 - [7] - Quote I will grant that maybe this freighter was on the return-leg of the trip and had already dumped his freight in Jita while picking up PLEX to bring back to the old homestead....but that just illustrates the folly of carrying this kind of cargo around in a freighter. For one, it's a stupid waste of a freighter's hold capacity. For another, it probably would have been safer (and much cheaper) to just send the PLEX back home in a shuttle or fast frigate. And finally, if you are going to run your hilariously-loaded freighter through a red-hot ganking system, then for the love of DEITY, send a scout ahead and take the long way home if things look unwholesome. Lazy and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

If you're picking up for corpies, contract them to your corp mates, they accept the contract and can activate the plex from anywhere in the universe through the assets window. A PLEX is like a gold bar: it's a valuable asset that has no useful purpose in your day-to-day life. I've bought a few and never even moved them out of the station I bought them in. When prices go up, I just sell it via contracts and let the buyer worry about moving it.
