Nope. Being from Denmark, which isn't a big fish & chips country, I've never really had the opportunity. And in Iceland, you'll get so much fish that you don't really want to eat fish if you can have something else instead. 
I take it I'm missing out on something good. I might have to try it.

I don't care it was a few days ago, I'm still going to another +1 on Kebab for you OP.
Also, you know the chili sauce they put in your kebab? Get a 1/4 pounder instead and ask the guy to put that in it instead of ketchup.. Might be a little over the top, might blow your head off, but it's good. :)

You have no idea. It's near impossible to get proper red sausages!

Who the hell wants a proper kebab when they've stumbled out of a pub/bar/club sometime well after midnight and have the munchies?
(Not that there's anything wrong with proper kebabs, but that's sort of restaurant food if you want a decent grill cooked one)

I've never had fish & chips in my life. So I wouldn't know. There's 2 places in Reykjavik that serves it. One is a generic grill/junk food place, the other is an organic bistro down close to Bullan, which possibly serves the best burgers in Iceland.
Truth of the matter is you are lucky, UK is slowly following in USA's footsteps where cooking involves picking up a phone or looking at a menu.
The best part is take out tastes really bad, costs more, probably takes longer to get than making it yourself and is bad for you, sometimes I feel like just melting butter all over my food selling it for ú50 and watching the parasites feed.
Oh and for what its worth, fish and chips is literally fish + chips + lard, you arent missing out on much unless you like the taste of greasy tasteless food.

Im English and trust me you are missing nothing, its only some soggy limp pieces of slightly fried potato with a piece of battered fish which is 30% greasy batter covering a small piece of white fish (which isn't usually cod)
There are much more interesting things to spend your take away money on.

Given the choice I would go for the dominoes. But only because I get the 50% armed forces discount. Whenever I go home to visit the mother on leave. "Chris can you get us pizza's on your way back"

I am also partial to kebabs. Chicken only though, the lamb ones taste like refried caow eyebrows to me.

And a medium Domino's pizza is $21/15euro, a large one is $24/17euro
Fish on the other hand is cheap and easy to get hold off 
Can you get good fish & chips in Reykjavik? I'd rather have that than either pizza or a kebab.
I had some here and it was good, but not better than the nicer kind you can get in the UK.
Personally, I would go for a Kebab but only if I could get a good one. Seems like Pizza is more forgiving in terms of quality.

Well I do have a family history and battle Crohn's disease. That being said, having colonoscopies since the age of 13 will pretty much guarantee that it will be noticed early on and will be completely treatable. That being said there will always a be that ever so small chance your wishes may come true.
