CCP, a word on these crashes, please!

Elina Tan	Posted - 2011.07.16 21:20:00 - [1] Dear CCP, I am getting VERY worried about these continual server crashes over the last few days. :( I'm not sure whether it's Incarna related or not (probably so, but I doubt you'd admit to that, were that the case). At any rate, I urge you to fix these issues, foremost (of course); and to please tell us honestly -- in a devlog or so -- what has been up of late with these server issues. Because frankly, like I said, this is having me very worried. Sincerely, Elina

To the best of my knowledge over the past 5 days the crashes have always been precipitated by problems in the market, player, and asset screens.

If it's something they apparently can't seem to solve well, then it IS a biggie. In which case I would very much prefer if they told us what's going on.

Revenge of all those bot account holders who were banned over the last couple of weeks Bad coding in their SQL databases Overload of databases due to the HUGE number of clothes & Monocle buyers A disgruntled CCP employee who has been told to design clothes instead of fixing bugs Take your pick or add other reasons

What's more it's ridiculous there's completely no info on eveonline.com, and every time we need to seek info on twitter (which hasn't been linked to main site, so if you don't know they use twitter then you don't know anything). Assuming they post any info at all.

Take DB down day or two, what ever it takes and fix it, you know it's not going to fix itself by just rebooting now and then... and then and then and then... It just won't work and you know it.
