So, in this day and age of computing, and games, you have alot of customizations options...... I thought.
I go out and get a new 24" monitor, and you are only able to change the chat font size?
--orso i was told in help channel.... yay, that leaves everything else headache mode to look at, let alone try to decifer.
is this true? or did help channel omit something?

Blame the hardware manufacturers.
Easier to sell something if you slap a FullHD sticker on it.
1920x1080 is good at 27", not so good at 24", even worse on laptops.

yep , next resolution down works great, sad though, 1920x1080 graphics look so awsome, but the ui crap :/, ahh well, live and learn

I'm in my 50s, I wear glasses and I'm using a 22 inch monitor running at 1680x1050, I don't have a problem reading any of the text. Maybe you need to see your eye doctor.

The font in chat windows is fine. The font is other windows, like reprocessing plant, etc, needs some tweaking or new options. Hopefully this will come with the carbon ui changes coming soonÖ.

Well maybe my comment is a bit harsh, but seriously, I was in my late 30s when I found out I needed glasses and I resisted getting them.
The 'aha' moment came one night while I was bowling, my dad owned a motorcycle dealership and asked me how I liked the new advertising banners he had purchased above the ends of the lanes. I told him I thought it was a waste of money since no one could read them that far away, lol, the rest of my team glared at me.
But hey, the fonts could be bigger, so +1

I agree with the OP. I use windowed mode and a high res and think the text is too small. TBH I think this games UI needs a complete overhaul. It makes the game feel dated
