I'm actually at the account management menu right now about to cancel.
Is it a good idea to put in a fake CC number and let that take hold b4 I cancel? I don't wanna bother with some petition about erasing my old CC, would putting in a bogus CC pretty much have the same effect? I mean this is "just in case" of whatever, sort of like stuffing chewing gum in a padlock keyhole on the way out...

LOL. you do realize people buy PLEX daily, so it's NEW FRESH Revenue you're buying. And becasue PLEX cost full price, you're actually making them MORE money than if you paid by yearly subscription.
I'm sure CCP thanks you for your INCREASED support.

Weirdly, like a few people I had a recurring subscription setup and the option to cancel did not show. I petitioned for them to stop the recurring payments as there was no other way to do it for me. |

WeÆre aware that some functions in account management, including the Cancellation function, are in some cases not correctly showing for all players under the Game Time option. WeÆre currently looking into what causes the temporary outage; however, as long as you have a subscription to cancel (even if the option is not showing up in your browser) you can access the cancel option directly from here: https://secure.eveonline.com/CancelSubscription.aspx
Please keep in mind that if there is not something to cancel (for instance if your account is a trial or active via ETC/PLEX) there is no subscription to cancel due to the account having a deactivation date instead of the usual automatic renewal date. In the event of you needing to make modifications to your account (cancelling a subscription, changing the payment method used, etc.) and are not able to do so, please contact Customer Support at [email protected], in game, or through the website: https://support.eveonline.com/pages/petitions/createpetition.aspx
