I looked for other postings about this and have not been able to find any. For the last 3 days I have a belt that I left a few units of Ark and Bistot in that I wanted to respawn the rocks but nothing...Is this a change in belts in wormholes??? After reading about the nerf I thought everyone was mining in wormholes ;) Some other miners need to weigh in on this.
Thanks

you're either a noob, a retard, or a troll - on the off-chance you're a noob, belts don't respawn in Wormholes, they are anoms and once you empty them, they are gone. .

We could all just say "Mentally Challenged" instead.

I think I was not too clear, in WH when you activate a belt it stays alive for 3-5 days. During that time if you do NOT mine the rocks all the way down till they pop after the next downtime the rock restores to original amount. For instance if you have a 15,000 Ark rock and you mine it down to the last few units and leave them the next day, if the belt is still active, you would have a new ark rock of 15,000. This has been the way it has worked in wh for the last 2 years or so.
Lately there has been alot of talk about removing ABC rocks from some of the holes. I just thought that maybe CCP decided that by doing away with this "feature" they would remove some of the whining about ABC coming from Wormholes.
Hoping that some other wormhole miners might be able to confirm or deny this...thanks for weighing in so quickly.

You're right. This is the first step in removing ABC asteroids from wormholes so they can only be found in non-wormhole nullsec as they should be. Next step is the removal of sleeper sites. It's nice to see CCP moving quickly on this issue.

This used to be true. CCP however might have changed it. Since I'm not living in a WH anymore I can not confirm it.

I never witnessed this phenomenon, perhaps it was a special bug.

I'll tell you what I believe we should never sell; Anything that messes with the competitive balance of the game. No + stat ammo, no + stat ships and anything of that type.

You're right. I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'm going to spam ignorant spweage here because I can...
CCP needs to produce stats on where minerals are coming from, again - because I'm pretty dam sure that 2.45% of the population of Eve (Worm Hole Dwellers) can't make that much of a difference in the mineral basket price. Wormholes: The *NEW* end game of Eve - Online: No Local. No Lag. No Blues (No Intell Channesl). No Blobs. |

This has not been true for at least eight months. In fact it may have been longer than that; the only times I recall seeing it happen was when the server crashed and rebooted.

IIRC, this used to be an "exploit" that null sec miners used on their grav sites so that they could mine more high end ores as opposed to running out of high ends and having to then mine medium/low end ores. ----------

Theres modules missing and morphite in your mineral pile.

My thanks to the posters here. I lived in wh's for over 1 year and never took advantage of this. About 1 month ago we moved back in from Null and in the course of my reading, I read of this exploit. I tried it and the first time I did it worked (last monday) on tuesday and subsequent days it has not worked so must be I caught it monday after an emergency shut down had occurred. In any event I mine out here to while away the hours as I wait for corpies to log on so we can do other more profitable things.
Cheers

Well, that's interesting - only place I've ever read of it is here... Emergency shut-down/reboot might cause this, but, not being a miner myself (exept when needed for some specific project), I don't know.
I'll check around. Wormholes: The *NEW* end game of Eve - Online: No Local. No Lag. No Blues (No Intell Channesl). No Blobs. |
