Valar Morghulis. XVMX (LAWN) is a primarily US-TZ PVP corporation where heroes are born from mere dust and forum ink.
WeGÇÖre not a powerhouse. WeGÇÖre not an established empire. WeGÇÖre not the best small gang pvp corp known to man and beast. We do want to become those things, and we play with the assumption that itGÇÖs more meaningful to create that type of organization than to join one thatGÇÖs already established.
When it comes down to it we're an experienced, mature group of players who know what we want from EVE: glorious battles, posts and space sandcastles. We work hard to achieve our goals but know when it's time to relax and have a good time, engaging in ironic usage of self deprecatory humor and ratting contests during GÇ£CTAsGÇ¥.
What we're looking for:
- Mature, serious, addicted PvP players who have experienced a fair bit of EVE, (15m SP+) like the game, and are going to be around for a while. People who know what they want and are looking to join a group of other strong people who share similar goals.
- People who play primarily for PvP. PvP of all types; we do small roams and giant lagfests and we think that all PvP is good PvP. If you're an indy guy, that's cool too GÇô Cicero said, GÇ£The sinews of war are unlimited money.GÇ¥ And he was right, because you see EVE is a lot like being a Roman senator. Even our indy-focused guys like the pew, though GÇô indy is just what you do to afford nice things.
- Pilots who dream big, and then set themselves out to achieve those goals fearlessly. Our space is really quite horrible. You're not going to be the next EVE tycoon by ratting out here, but you will get to participate in some great wars and your name will echo the halls of k.com in battle reports written by a mildly well-known person.
- Willingness to train towards alliance-mandated ships and fittings with at least one combat character. Tight fleet comps beat random hodgepodge, itt.
- Standard Nullsec stuff, you need to have a mic, use voicecomms, and know your way around EFT.
What we offer:
- Subsidized PvP. Like any disgusting tech-heavy alliance that isnGÇÖt OWN, we subsidize your PvP. Losses sustained in the vagaries of interweb spaceship combat will either be replaced or compensated by the corporation.
- Space! Our alliance owns 15 systems in Pure Blind complete with 6 outposts.
- Active, enthusiastic players. We may be small, but we play big, leading our alliance in Kills-per-member ratio and efficiency despite one pilot having 10 freaking alts. Yeah, I know, 10. I think he mines ice or something. *obligitory k:d ratio, leetpvp reference, look how silly we are.
- Personal recognition. We have an in-game meaningless rank system and numerous awards and decorations with which we shower deserving individuals in the corporation. If you're a forum prostitute, your personal sigfile will display these in all their rage-inducing glory.
- Latin-sounding name, plagiarized from a popular series of books (now with added HBO specialness) complete with a dot and a scary piratey logo. We're so lame it implodes in on itself and bursts forth quasar-like into awesomeness.
- No taxes. CCP nuked our anoms and this small corp's 10% tax wouldn't even pay for a single plex last month so whatever. This might change if we move but for now we're funding ourselves through serious space spreadsheet activity, (if you canGÇÖt make money taxing the people at 10%; tax the CEO at 100%).
