Don't allow the aggresor in a war to dock in the defenders home system.
No one, and I mean no one, comes into our house, and pushes us around. So should you come to our doorstep and look to pick a fight, prepare yourself because there is no where our fist won't reach you on our turf!
Anyways, I think that's the proper mindset to fight a war - Super to war mechanics: Your epicish needs more epicness! |

Wouldn't it be easier on the devs if you simply denied them the ability to undock in your home system?

Unless you're in null-sec... what makes a particular station YOUR station? Isn't it owned by NPC's? I don't think the NPCs care much about the affairs of capsuleers beyond not getting shot at. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

You should be happy that the owner of "your" station wont kick you out for blocking the undock with the wrecks of your bad ships.

All people who are at war should get kicked to 20km whenever they leave a station.
Might be massively unfair but it would end all those horrible high sec station games. |

I can't say I completely hate the idea, though ppl who tend to forget things in station would hate going back to get things :P
Wars need to force the aggresor to open fire and defenders to return, wars with no shots fired defeats the purpose in my opinion... |

The system is your home and if people fighting should come to it, it should only result in a fight - what reason do u have to entering a system full of hostile war targets? You planning to fleet up with them? Lolz
And I don't think npc's care in the first about anything because I wasn't under the impression they had a brain to care with...
It's a game mechanic, you can figure out the lore after u implement it |

explain how that would increase conflict? It might not increase "conflict" per say, but seeing as the only reliable way to prevent someone from undocking is to beat the crap out of them every time they do; it would be hugely effective. |

You(*) can set docking rights in your own stations based on standings, so it's easy to disallow your wartargets docking.
* You need to have the station manager role.

If it's an NPC station, then absolutely not! While I hate station games as much as anyone, I don't think a corp should be rewarded for setting a particular station as their HQ. If you want to dictate docking rights go to null and build your own station. Otherwise, pay the price for basing out of an NPC station. |
