A post about most of the whining going on here. I have to respond because I, like most of you here, have to whine about something too.
Except I'm whining about the other whiners. (no difference really just pointing that out)
Aside from exploits most of the ingame mechanics are fair and somewhat balanced. You whiners are just constantly putting yourselves in situations and positions of disadvantage. Why the hell are you whining about getting blasted in an ambush being outnumbered 4-5-6 to 1 in low security space? Why are you whining about someone taking stuff from your con you just happen to leave floating around in ANY space?
Then you have hypocritic whining... Why are you still whining about factory and research slots AND complaining about the market being flooded? What is the point in whining about game changes.... what, you don't expect the game to evolve and still expect to compare it to real life?
These things are fair, you have to adapt (or not be a hypocrite).
Herein, my whinings are pointless because just like your situation my whining isn't going to change a damn thing.

People with 15x damage mods on turrets isn't fair nor is it balanced.

My guess.. the single biggest reason people whine is they are afraid to admit someone somewhere got the best of them or they made a mistake.
Jump into a pirate ambush and get wacked... no problem blame it on lag, blame it on the rats using an exploit, blame it on a bug, blame it on whatever... It's much easier to say hey... I screwed up, my fault they got me.
The truth will set you free people! Other players will have much more respect for you if you admit your mistakes and congradulate your enemey for a job will done. Learn from your defeat or mistake and move on.
Damn.. I need a bigger soap box....
Don't like the 15x damage mod? Go trick your ship out the same way until they fix it.

nor is people cuising in Imps thru 0.0 security space or renting 30+ research slots or indy's going 1000m/s.
But guess what they "fix" first.

Scragg i suggest you come out your newb ship for once and start playing this game, maybe then you will notice lag, exploits or bugs abused by people.
