Edited by: Devaky on 28/07/2011 20:10:05 Hey guys, my question is very simple. After long researching I was still not capable to find 100% answer. That's why im asking here and I would like only players who are 100% sure about what they say. I don't need any proof.
1) Does Pulsar affect Sleepless ? Do they really have -50% armor resistance? Is it really easier to kill them than in no-affect wormholes?
2) Does Magnetar really gives you damage bonus which sleepless do NOT get?
3) Does Wolf rayet also affect sleepless? Do they also get +50% armor bonus ?
Thanks for answers.

Yes to numbers 2 and 3, assuming yes to number 1 but a 2nd opinion cant hurt.

I always do more damage in a pulsar to sleepers when I examine my damage logs so I wud say yes to number one too and as splodger says definately yes to 2 and 3 although the percentage of the effect depends on the class of wormhole.

If you have experience from both Magnetar and Pulsar can you also tell me which one is more effective for killing sleepless? Is it better to kill low-resistance sleepless with normal damage or kill sleepless with their standard resistance but with twice damage?
I would really appreciative

I personally preffer the Pulsar. Adding some extra shield buffer while the Sleeper frigs get a larger sig radius is awesome. At the same time, the locking range and explosion velocity penalty in a Magnetar is annoying like hell.

The answer to all 3 is that sleepers do not recieve anomaly effects. A few patches ago they used to receive some bonuses (ie. armor resists in wolf-rayet) - this was changed at the same time they stopped POS receiving anomaly bonus (ie. no more +68% pos shields in c4 pulsar).
The best wormhole for fast isk generation is a magnetar, faster killing. But unless you're talking about c5/c6 it's pretty irrelevant seeing as your bread & butter is in your static, not the WH you live in.

Exactly how long ago was this supposedly fixed?
I couldn't be arsed to do any PvE in my wormhole for about 2 months, but last time I did the sleepers were still affected by the effects (as I said about 1-2 months ago). My Tengu shooting a BS (always dealing fixed max damage against it) deals more damage in a Pulsar with it's lower armor resists compared to a no-effect hole, just as I deal less damage in a Wold-Rayet where the sleepers gains extra resist.

Last time I ran a site (possibly not since Incarna 1.0) I was still getting higher damage volleys in a pulsar. Unless you can point out the specific patch notes that altered this, I call BS. Also? I just tricked you into reading my signature. |

OMG guys so again im in the situation where some say sleepless RECIEVE bonuses (They are weaker in pulsar, stonger in wol rayet and they DO more damage in magnetar) and some say they do NOT recieve any of these bonuses (So Sleepless in Pulsar or Wolf rayet are actually the same).
SO WHAT IS THE TRUTH ?

The truth is that people who post aparently don't know, and people who know have no reason to post about it.
This is also the kind of thing that CCP for some reason never mention in their patch notes, so what might have beeen the truth a month ago might not be now. ---
