They'd just let us beta-test it, then remove that feature and claim something like "server load", just to be followed with it being released on the NeX store. TL;DR you will have to pay for useful updates. -

I mean, come ON... displaying and working with fonts is one of the most basic things in any modern (post-DOS) software program, game or not. Selecting different fonts, changing the size, flowing text around graphics and other UI elements... it's all been done before, tens of thousands of times. There are standardized tools and methods for working with fonts, even within 3D games. Surely CCP, in designing EVE a few years back, didn't start completely from scratch and whip up their own custom font-rendering engine with a single hard-coded typeface??????? Because THAT is the ONLY reason I can think of as to why this problem hasn't been fixed yet!

I have to get within 6 feet to read the damned per-hour extraction rates on the PI graph pane. Used to have 20/20, I think it's probably a little worse than that now, but still pretty darn good.

Laser Purification	Posted - 2011.08.07 09:38:00 - [76] This has been a trivial, important and requested fix for years as far as I know. CCP are just terrible in general and focused on things other than Eve atm. A font in which you could tell ROIR-Y from R0IR-Y would also be rather nice.

This is an extremely important issue. The fonts of the UI are too damn small and it is ruining the enjoyment of this game. Please fix this.

This is 2011, who runs EVE at low resolutions these days? EVE looks terrible on an LCD screen running at lower than native resolutions, and EVE is almost unreadable at 1920x1080 (most 22 inch monitors native resolution) unless your face is 20cm from the screen. PLEASE make EVE a modern game!

Nothing they say will be universally accepted unless the answer is "Getting fixed at downtime". Its not getting fixed at downtime so I don't want them to say that. 2. They changed it once, they will change it again. 3. No one that's complaining thanked them when they changed it from 12 to 13. It might not have fixed the problem for you but it fixed it for many. Being an ingrate prick has its downsides. . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.
