I need something that is fast and can relialy kill a battleship and/or battlecruiser.
I thought about: -T2/faction cruiser -T3 -Battlecruiser -gallente battleship
but I am not sure which is best suited for speed and bc/bs killing.
I am not sure how much DPS a battleship can tank so that would be helpfull to know too.
Also this would most likely be for solo work. My solution to micro-transactions/noble exchange and CCPs money problem! |

Vagabond/Cynabal seem to fit your bill, fast with heavy dps, and gtfo factor if local blooms.

Cool! So a Cynabal can BBQ a bs? I actually planed getting a cynabal anyway so that is just perfect! My solution to micro-transactions/noble exchange and CCPs money problem! |

Can do it, but it may take a while. Some active tanks will shrug off your damage long enough that you'll be running in circles.
Most of the pirate faction BS will eat BC or BS in even engagements. Machariel, Vindicator, Bhaalgorn are all very dangerous ships.

Before getting the mach I would use a nano tempest first. Cynabal is nice.

The "average" active tanked (PVP) BS can tank all of a Cynabal's likely DPS output and then some.

If it's an active tanked ship with energy weapons that it has to be a Curse. With Recon V and decent skills you'll be pulling 1800 cap out every cycle and TD's will reduce the incoming damage significantly before they're capped out. Then you'll make short work of them if you have reasonable drone skills.

So curse for ship depending on cap an cynabal for everything else?

Absolutely a Cynabal can kill a drake. Its speed greatly reduces missile damage.

Curse or Pilgrim, small and fast enough to tank BS damage (dont forget the tracking disruptors for turret ships), and the neuts wreck active tanks.

Yes if the Cynabal is fitted dual-prop. No if the Cynabal only has MWD - the missile damage will kill the Cynabal assuming the Drake has a sensible PvP fit.

You won't be making "short work" of anything in a Curse with drones. I have a totally maxed out Curse pilot and you'll be doing 238dps MAXIMUM assuming you've fitted for bonuses - ie neuts/nos in the high slots.
Its a lovely ship and great fun to fly but it won't kill anything above cruiser size quickly. If you are flying solo then you will need to ensure that your target can't de-aggress & jump/dock as if its BC size or above you simply won't be able to kill it quickly enough.
