Hello all,
I know that the 8800gts is now a bit old in the graphics card arena, but it has been serving my uses perfectly up until the release of incarna. Prior to Incarna, i was able to play with rather high graphics settings, (textures/level of detail/anti-aliasing all set to highest possible) but have since had to optimize all settings to their lowest possible value. Even after taking these steps, i have been experiencing frequent crashes of ccp.exe, and occasional blue screens as well. I have been using the latest driver available (275.33) that isn't beta. I'd really appreciate any input on a way to work around these problems. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

I been having the same problem with a 9800 GTX. tried reinstalling windows as I thought it was a windows update that caused the problem but on a fresh install of Win7 64bit with nothing but the latest drivers and EVE installed I get crashes to BSOD while trying to do anything from opening the corp hangar to running "infiltrated outpost". at my wits end and would love some help on this.

Prior to incarna, I was running 2 x 8800gt cards in sli.
1 week after incarna, one of the cards blew. It was working fine but I feared the other would blow, so I upgraded to a 450 gts. Works well and was cheap as chips too.

I am running 2 x 8800GTS in SLI mode, and since incarna i have been experiencing similar symptoms.
I was experiencing client crashes when jumping gates, and 3-4 fps in station, lowering the video settings helped resolve those symptoms.
however i am still experiencing occasional ccp.exe crash and my station background turns red or green when i dock, also client crashes occasionally when i click accept on the trade in station window. i did experience a blue screen of death once since incarna.
also running the latest drivers.

When a game kills your hardware it's a sign that there was a weakness somewhere, which is why I have a VF3000 on my 6870 and a DuOrb on my 8800GTS 320. I haven't replaced the cooler of the 9800GTX+ because there's no need, it can't be overclocked as the card can't be OC'd at all.
I was looking at getting a GTS450 but it's roughly the same performance as a 9800GTX+ for more money.

I have asus(nvidia?) GTX 570 And i get ccpexe file crash and i have no idea why it happens. I have good fps throughout the game both in and out of stations. but today my eve crashed totally and it wont re-install. it say the dl is corrupt or something I tried the manual download and the online installer and bout give the same error. The repair tool cant fix it either. At this point im really frustrated by this issue, :P I tried locating all temp files and all ccp/eve folder and delete them but the problem persists. I use win7 64bit.

I have 2 8600 gts and had same problem these two solutions helped me I have not crashed in 2 months. Did you restart your computer from sleep mode? I find eve does not like sleep mode restarts. Try restarting your computer see if that changes. If so tip: never use sleep mode When my game crashed alot I found this info, works for NVIDIA cards not sure about others Open your card settings I do it by right click in open area and selecting NVIDIA control panel 3D settings > manage 3D settings in the window look for "antialiasing - mode" and select "override any application setting" If neither of these work I can't help you, sorry.
