CCP ****ed up royally and lost an ass load of subs, they made some attempt at amending things but we still need to watch what they do and not what they say. Despite that, the exodus HAS made a difference and to expect everyone to remain unsubbed is short-sighted. Exhibiting glee at people's return is frankly pathetic fanboyism.

But in short, the inability to stick to your guns until at least a step is made towards the change you originally left over, is exactly why CCP (and every other game company) can simply ignore said threats and only pay attention to actual loss over quarterly periods.

As we'll probably soon see, EvE may quit you, but you can't quit EvE without biomassing ...

And I can't find any other game out there that lets me play the way I want to play.

It has been a month. I gave a bunch of stuff a try. Perpetuum is the next best alternative but it isn't ready for what I like to do. I'll be keeping subbed there and waiting, skilling up and figuring it out. But for now. I'm also going back to EvE.

It kind of galls me inside a bit. But I haven't found an alternative to our lovely sandbox. That, and I read this. And I realized I was doing the same thing. And that I feel the same way.

I caught Jester off my twitter feed. The only eve content other than Clear Skies. (I watched the trilogy more times than I'd care to really admit) that I had during my time out. And you know what, he is right.

I've still not quite resubbed yet. Still have to actually go and re-click the 'give CCP money' button. I'm still running on my original paid for time.

Since the op is most likely the butt-hurt person who contacted me on yet another alt most likely, hi vixxxy. (But that is another blog post I've not made yet about how while I wasn't even logged in or piloting an internet spaceship, some folks were still butt-hurt at me)

And thanks Spank for holding my stuff. (I seem to have gotten a good portion of it back...there was an awful lot of it)
