Ok so I've never asked for a loan outside of my corp before, so bear with me and my questions.
Here's the basics:
I live in nullsec and have trained up to pilot Gallente carriers. I'm looking to buy a Thanatos to run combat anomalies. My corp mates use carriers to run anoms and make plenty of money, so I know it's better than what I'm getting now. I live in the drone regions, so I have to salvage everything to make any money. Right now, I run anoms with this toon in a BS and my alt in a Drake for better tank. Then I have to come along in a noctis after i've done 1 or 2 anoms and salvage everything. Making money is terribly slow, and I'd like to step things up. Hence why I'm requesting a loan for a Thanatos.
I work long hours during the week and only have 1 day off on the weekends, so I get about 2 hours a night to make ISK.
So for the loan:
-1.2 billion ISK -90 days to repay (although I always pay off loans early) I have 3 months of game time bought, and intend to pay it off in 1-2 months, but RL sometimes comes into play. -15% interest. If you lend me money, I should at least make it worth your while and I think 10% is a little low. -As for collateral, I really don't know what I could give. Suggestions?
If you might be interested, convo or mail me. I'd be glad to discuss the loan and see if we could get a mutual agreement going.
Thanks for your time

carriers are bad at ratting, you can get more dps from a dominix.

Edited by: Bill Lane on 03/08/2011 03:40:54 I'll probably be on for around another hour. After that, it'll be another 22 hours or so before I can log back on. So if you'd like a convo, 1730-2100 PST (GMT-8) are my normal playing hours

Lol wow I come asking for a loan, I leave with the knowledge that I ruin nullsec by having a job making real money and having little time to spend on Eve. Even though my 1 day a week consists of as much Eve as I can squeeze in. But ya I'm ruining nullsec. Get a job, a life, and take your negative comments elsewhere. Thanks for playing.

I guess there really is a place for trolls in MD. Weaves out those who can't even keep their composure when asking for a "large" sum of isk and someone comes by and says a few things...

I remember living briefly in 0.0 and one of the rules was that if you got caught using a capital to rat/anom you would get blown up, kicked, and your corp would be fined a large amount...
Fun times.

Lol when did I lose my composure? Does my sarcasm constitute losing my composure? Not in my book. But hey, to each his own I guess I had only had 3 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours when I wrote that, but I still don't see anything wrong with what I said.

Ah hell Jerry I'm not mad anymore. I guess I sounded more mad in what I wrote than I meant to. Hard to convey tone in a post, ya know? Forgive and forget my man, it's water under the bridge. Especially after a decent night of sleep haha

I have lived in 0.0 twice for fairly short periods. The first time when I had about 2m sp and my friend convinced me I could get rich ratting (a long time ago) and just before I quit I lived in vale for about a month. Don't recall alliance name atm, but the guy who recruited me had some weird ideas of how far you could stretch the truth without "lying" or I would have stayed there longer (getting an evemail that your corp will b booted in 24 hours from alliance isn't great for retaining members).
Id love to go to null to live again but lack of rl play time makes that hard.

My alts alliance just recently killed several drakes, industrials and a few miners because someone was doing a 'mining op' with alliance members. Isn't the first time they've done it either, nor will it be the last.

Wow that's messed up. I'd be finding a new alliance real fast, as it seems so willing to shoot its own members for playing how they like to play.

It's not so much killing them cause they are bearing up in our null sec home, it's they want it to discourage people from bringing mining bears into the alliance. They have an alt alliance designated(and blue) they can join. Only reason it's discouraged is because it ****s up the kill board, people whined so much when I neglected to notice we were at war and lost my mission ship, I almost considered doing it again.

Being easy kills was one of the reasons the alliance I was in didn't want people to rat in carriers. a PVE carrier is a dead carrier.

PvE carrier: T2 fitted, insurable - don't dare to risk losing one! Tengu, Vindicator, Machariel, ... : deadspace-fitted, insurance not worth bothering with - lose one and nobody cares
I stopped using a carrier for ratting because its isk/hour could be easily beaten by my Marauder. But then the carrier did cost maybe 1.2b ISK (including fitting) a large part of which was insurable. The Marauder was 1.7-1.9b ISK almost none of which was insurable. The killer would not only have gained a nice killmail - he would also have had a good chance at nice module drops.
The fear of losing carriers is extremely irrational when every newbie is running CAs in his 1.5b Tengu without anyone raising an eyebrow.
