Wondering if there's a database, or a least some easy way to find the in-game links to view things like the Polaris, Jove, or Talocan ships.

type name click the little info circle?
but yes there is an external DB of assets somewhere and I believe if you view it in the in-game browser and click an item it will open the info window.
for the life of me I can't remember the name
oh and google works in a pinch too

Awesome links, but this raises the question; do Talocan ships exist in-game anymore?

They never did, as far as I'm aware. I remember seeing a picture of what they might have looked like in a chronicle some time ago, but that's as close as they've ever come to "existing".

Hmm, well there's always the containers (Talocan Frigate, Talocan Cruiser, Talocan Battleship)
Is there anyway to view the objects with the preview window, or at least link the show info in-game?

You can get showinfo with normal javascript links, but it doesn't have preview window for those items: (search for TypeName "talocan", then click on typeID links)
