It seems a number of you are unhappy about the cost of running apps when the monetization changes take place (if they ever do).
Take comfort in knowing that Infinity Limited will be acquiring a number of license to be rented out for isk!
Pricing, Website, terms of use and a license/api portal are still being worked on.
So my questions to you.
1. Would this be a type of service you would use?
2. Based on current information do you think by using a portal I would be able/ccp would allow multiple users to share the same license?
Any other comments or tips would be most appreciated.

Not even with a single user, since one of the main purposes of the payment is to identify the holder of the license.

I personally will never sign any kind of license. As soon as CCP introduces something like it and forces me to sign a license, I'm out.
That said, I highly recomment that you research the legal impact of your idea. Say, one of your renters "goes berserk" with your license - CCP will be all over you. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

Same goes for me, although in EVEMon's case it's BattleClinic's concern.

Personally i have no Problem at all with signing an Agreement with CCP, i just don't see me paying for asking people for small isk donations (which arent that much anyways)
about the OP, well first of all what you are suggesting breaks the idea of the licensing, and second - the way that was announced first is of the table, ccp is working on a new suggestion - so breaking your heads over this might just be wasted time. wearing expensive clothes since 2011.06.24 22:03:00

Sorry mate, but this completely eliminates the main purpose of the license, which as mentioned above is to identify who is building what and to hold them accountable.
Suffice it to say, I would not be using this service. ------------

To the OP ...
What you propose will be (a) specifically against the terms of any worthwhile license agreement with CCP (b) a fantastically stupid way to make YOU legally liable for somebody else violating the terms of the license agreement.
Most of us are not unhappy about the license agreement - personally I think its a good idea. I just think that CCP can kiss my ***** *** if they think I'm going to pay money for something that takes me weeks of labour and generates not even a fraction of it's true value in either ISK or cash.
So why would I give my ISK to someone else?
