I recently built this exact myrmidon I found on battleclinic. http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/42148-Myrmidon-600-DPS-425-T2-Autocannon-65k-EHP-Shielf-Tank-PvP-Myrm.html#loadout
I understand that all the relevant skills are supposed to be at level 5 to get and EHP number over 60,000 but I am not even close. I have most of the skills at 5 and the couple I don't are at level 4 and yet my Myrmidon has a EHP rating of only around 47,000 with Damage Control II and Invul. field II turned on. Does anyone have any idea about why this could be or what skills I need to train? Thanks.

Chances are pretty good that the stats mentioned in the build are EFT stats, not in-game fitting screen stats. EFT tends to "Inflate" the numbers, due to the fact that it takes your highest damage profile, where the in-game takes your lowest damage profile.
TL;DR You actually have closer to this EHP than you think, it's just calculated in another way.
Hope it helps, -Cailan

Wrong. EFT (and any other reasonable fitting program) does a weighted average that (by default) assumes a 25% split from each damage source and applies it to each layer of your resists independently.
EVE uses whatever resist is lowest for each layer and calculates that layer's HP under that damage type.
Both of them add the results up from there, with EFT's simulation assuming a uniform damage split throughout and EVE making weird assumptions like using EM missiles on shields and switching to explosive for armor...

EFT's default damage profile is balanced (25% of each damage type, rather than just your best damage), and you can make custom damage profiles. I believe you're right about Eve using your lowest resist though.
So EFT will give you a better overall picture and Eve gives you the worst case scenario. In general though, you'll usually want to use EFT and program in the rat damage profiles and use the balanced one for Sleepers and PvP.

I did not know that about EFT. Thanks for the replies.
