G'day. I've a break from Eve coming up in a couple days, and want to know if R&D agent research, and more importantly research and industry jobs continue/complete after a subscription to Eve runs out.
I'm guessing R&I jobs are not simply paused like the skill queue, as that would tie up an installation till I re-subscribe. So I assume CCP either lets jobs run to completion, or kicks them out of the installation partly done. Can someone tell me which is the case, please?

Accumulating RP with your R&D agent will stop when the account is inactive. Linkage
Manufacturing jobs, market orders etc. should stay active.

I'm not sure about that. unless it was changed recently. I was talking to a guy that came back after to playing for over two years and he was excited when he realized he had a couple bil worth of RP to cash in. Unless he was lieing.
I was under the impression that having an active account just affected your ability to log in, but did not really affect the characters in game. skill training would continue until que ran out, manufacturing and research jobs would complete, PI would run until current program was complete. Just in most cases this only goes for a couple days without user input to restart stuff.would only really benefit players that set skills training that would take months before allowing account to go inactive. But I have been told research points do still continue to accumulate.
Maybe this fix has not been rolled out yet, or maybe the guy I talked to just had the points acumulated before the fix. I am inclined to believe the latter. If it is fixed that is great. Not a big deal for most players but it is an easy exploit for players with muti accounts. pay on month pre year and get the RP for 12? Definently needed fixed.

The change was made last year. So, if your friend has been inactive for two years, he would still have been collecting for the first year that he was inactive.
