Okay, just got out of a meeting and I can share some general information with you guys. But first, I just wanted to thank you all for being patiently impatient *big grin*
We will have more information regarding our August patch (Incarna 1.1) soon, but I don't yet have a date for when an announcement will be made. I know you guys hate when I say such things, but know that getting more information out to you as soon as possible is of paramount importance to us. I will take part in another meeting tomorrow on this very topic!
Next week our EVE design teams will be meeting to do release planning for Winter 2011. We should have a roadmap for the next major phase of EVE's development, and right after that, the myriad scrum teams will begin working on their various projects and features. From experience, it will take a month or so for blogs to start rolling out, so it's possible that we will start having Winter-related blogs towards the end of September, hopefully sooner.
Keep in mind that when I say things like this regarding generalities about when we will get information out to you guys, it's not set in stone; it can be sooner, or a little later, but getting the information out to you is one of Community's most important tasks.

Incarna 1.1 has not been delayed. We timed 1.1 until after the summer holidays. (Staff in the Iceland office traditionally take several weeks off during the summer, staggard, of course).

Okay, so here's what's next. I've written a dev blog that is currently in a peer review with the folks responsible for Incarna. The publish date can be as early as tomorrow, or as late as the 24th. There are some facts that I need them to review first so that I don't accidentally misinform you guys which is why we have a large date span.
My personal goal is to get it published by tomorrow. And no, I won't be waiting for translations :)

Originally by: oematoema Any word on the postponed 1.0.2 patch? Are its contents now moved into the new 1.1 patch?
that's a really good question. I'm asking about that, because I can't quite recall if some of the work has been added via client updates or not (off the top of my head). I'll let you know what I find out :)

Here's the blog...
Regarding 1.0.2, many of the fixes were hotfixed into the game over the last several weeks. If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, you'll be able to see what those changes are.
