Bit of a nube question but do warp bubbles pull people out of warp therefore depositing them 200,000 km away from the bubble(or however far it takes for the ship to slow down) or do they just work when the ship is 'not warping' ie. on the way to a gate or station? is it actually posible to pull someone from warp? are there any rules concerning how close to objects these modules can be deployed? for example if one was placed next to a gate in empire or in front of a station. what if i was at war and accidently snared a non hostile ship, would concord sentrys destroy the bubble if in range? what warp scramble strength do they have? any information on the subect would be most helpfull

I've never used warp bubbles myself, but I can answer some of your questions.
Warp bubbles can't be placed in empire space. They can only be anchored in 0.0 space.
They have infinite warp scramble strength so even if you fit 8 warp core stabs the bubble will stop you.
I believe that they can pull someone out of warp. If someone placed a bubble between two gates, it will yank your ship out of warp. Not too sure about this, but it's what I've heard.
I don't know any specific rules for anchoring them. Hmm.. I guess I ought to buy a mobile warp disruptor and find out. ````````````` _ |\_ ````````````` \` oo\ ````````_____/ =__Y= `````` /` `````` ) `_``` / ` , ``` \/\_.(\_/) ((____| `` )_--\ \_-`(x.x) `------'`------` `--` (> <) Kitty pwns Bunny! |

- only usable in 0.0 - must be placed at the end of the warp path... i.e. within the same grid. - they won't work mid-warp apprently, though I've never tested that myself - they don't work all the time anyhow. - warp strength unlimited basically. no amount of warp core stabs will help.

And what skills are needed to use one? Can someone do it alone?

it works, friend of me was pulled out of warp between 2 gates like that, bubble camped by a raven, raven died to friend his arma fitted with megapulses and 6 or so heatsinks.
the pulling out of warp is instantly, one sec you'r warping at 3au/s, next second you'r dead in the water

Have tried to do this many times, but the bubble has never worked. Can you give more details that would help testing?

Warp bubbles are still one of the buggiest modules in the game.
They do 1 of 3 things.
1. Pull the guy out of warp like 60-100km from the bubble 2. Pull the guy out of warp in the bubble 3. Don't pull the guy out of warp at all, for some insta's this seems to be the case, even though the ship clearly passed through the bubble while coming out of warp.

I was caught by a warp bubble while using an insta once, got blown up and then podded. So they do work sometimes.
Needless to say, I now warp to a BM a few hundred thousand KM away from the gate and scan it before warping.

started a thread on it, but asking here as well.

I did some testing with the bubbles, and here is what I found:
1) They don't pull you out of warp 2) They only prevent you from ENTERING warp
If I'm wrong on the first one, then it isn't reliable, as I tried very clearly to do this, and it didn't work (set it up about 20km away in line with a gate, and entered warp, passing through it without effect).
They make for great gank tools when placed at the warp-in spot for a particular gate, to keep inbound ships from warping out when they see you.
