That was one of my favorite things. During the heat of a fight, you hear that shing of an email flying to your inbox and your evemail lights up with a brief blink to let you know that you got final blow on your target.
Why was this taken out? Notifications are in a separate group now, and evemails are just evemails. Can we have our evemail sound back for a kill since it's taken out completely now?
Thanks :]

I am so happy they removed them. As being on the getting killed side, there seemed to always be a spike of lag as the mail arrived, which I ofc used to blame my pod loss on.

I'll tell you what I believe we should never sell; Anything that messes with the competitive balance of the game. No + stat ammo, no + stat ships and anything of that type.

No thanks. It was removed to reduce lag, what we have now is fine, stop being a KM ho.

Got an idea,
Remove lag by removing the inoperable CQ and return the email. That should give us less lag and actually return more functionality.

How the hell is the in-station environment lagging your combat?

You make out like it was only recently removed. Talk about a has-been.
How about you pay that money you dishonourably stole.

Not like you actually get kills Siig. It was more like your eve mail flashed when your loot pinata blew up --------------------------------------- www.eve-pirate.com original author |

I agree there was a slight delay occasionally when your ship exploded to when you entered your pod, but I think that's more a UI issue of having to convert to entering a new ship more than anything. Any time you are at a POS, try leaving your ship and getting in a new one. Your UI freezes ever-so-temporarily, and I believe this is the pause you guys are talking about.

Tell that to the Titan pilot who landed a ringer with the AoE DD
UI needs to be a lot more customizable, I don't want/need skills at top on my sheet and I certainly don't want the stupid certificate on it at all. We should be able to organize individual windows to a much greater extent than just turn a flash off here and there.
