Hey chaps, I'm going to suggest an evelan, where we all get together IRL for a few hours with laptops etc, and go for a good old fashioned roam.
Thoughts?

Ok. I'm going to start simple, and suggest a day. I'm going to suggest a monday evening, a wednesday evening or a saturday evening.

You sure an evening is our best bet? With downtime/people getting organised after work and uni we'd only manage to wring out about 4 hours of gaming. I'd have thought a Saturday or Sunday afternoon would be better. Start at around midday and go until DT like a baws.

I'll volunteer my place. It's in Ashford/Keswick just off Anzac Hwy. I've got an 8 port hub and a few network cables. I can probably stick 2 PCs on my dining table and another one on the coffee table in the lounge. I also have a laptop that can run Eve competently so I can look after someone who can't bring their own PC if need be. Happy to squeeze more people in but they'll probably have to BYO surface and seating.

Alas no BBQ. The nearest places for food that I know of (and remember, I've only been living here for about a month) are the KFC and HJs on Anzac Hwy, so, bleargh. There's a nice snack bar across the road but it's closed on the weekend. We'll either have to order in OR BYO less substanstial food (i.e. snacks) OR embark on a foray to a pub, the closest two being the Goodwood Park Hotel and The Rex of which the former seems to be the more "pub like" and less "trendy pub wannabe ****house".
I'll troll the Adelaide Crew channel logs and see if I can find all the people who have lurked over the last couple of months and Evemail them invites.

Evemail sent to everyone I could find in the Adelaide Crew chat logs, anyone else we've ever met IRL and anyone else I know who plays Eve and lives in Adelaide.
When: Saturday, 3rd September @ 12pm
Where: Goodwood Park Hotel, 75 Goodwood Road, Goodwood.
The plan: Lunch and Eve related banter at the pub and then when we break up those interested in lanning it up can come back to my place and we'll get into it. So far LAN attendees are myself, Substance and Octanis. That would leave space for about 2 more people. I also have a laptop available that runs Eve pretty well if someone wants to come and LAN but can't BYO their own PC.
Please RSVP as soon as possible for the lunch and/or the LAN in this thread or via an Evemail to Bam Stroker.
