Serious question actually, and I cant be arsed to read the whole thread. If you get time out from your busy schedules, plz post a short history lesson for meh.

Hey mate. I expect a better version of "Who we are" and "Why we are" to be released fairly soon, but since you asked, and since the "coming soon" bits most likely wont be short history lessons....
A short history lesson would be:
Jericho Fraction, led by Jade Constantine, decided that with the onset of Exodus, there existed a way to formalize a political philosophy they were very much aligned with, and were happy to fight for.
That philosophy is one of freespace. An 0.0 existence, wherein neutrals are treated with respect, never fired upon, in fact the reverse, they are welcomed. An 0.0 existence (And presence) where we never claim the space we call home. (Our home is for the most part, Pure Blind and surrounding areas. You will mostly find SF members there.)
I'll leave the philosophy and whatnot behind this for another time, and an official post regarding SF. Suffice to say, we believe we offer something unique.
Not only this, but there was a strong RP element to both Jericho Fraction, and the envisaged Star Fraction. We are part of the Eve Universe, not simply players in it.
This vision of JF's attracted many likeminded Corps. Including my own, Freelance Council (You can tell even just by the name, we had much in common  ). Others such as the Glamour Bunnies, Omerta Syndicate, Tenax Incorporated, and recent newcomers the Tarsis Shriners and Metaforge were all interested in this vision.
So, we signed up. And moved ourselves to or near the PB region. We are now still working out the finer of the finest details, and are still "getting our feet" for a few moments before we truly start to "walk". (Hence this whole thread, it's about getting ourselves sorted out  ). Even still, in this short time, we've achieved a great deal both internally and externally. We decided to form the Alliance pretty much before we sorted the constitution and whatever else out 100% - i.e. we jumped right into the fun and skipped the yawn sessions! We have been putting the pieces together since Day 1, and though it is messy and inexact, we still enjoy a very pure freedom.
In a nutshell, we plan to bring something unique, wholly different, intriguing, provoking, and satisfying to Eve. On a "normal", "player" level, but most especially, on the RP level. We plan to make ourselves known, and for all the right reasons. We plan to be an example, representative of how freespace can truly work, and be not just beneficial, but BETTER than this pathetic territorialist garbage that many grew tired of so long ago.
Anyways, I've been drinking a tad too much Amarrian Cognac, so this is in no way a very detailed, or comprehensive, or reliable account. But it's the best I can do for you atm Hobbsalong. I hope it can in some way suffice.
