First of all i would like to tell you a little bit about persion behind the computer before start say caerbear crying. I am 46 and disable with rheumatoid arthritis have had it 4 year have been off work for 3, meds don't help me ( i am 1 of those rare ****s that the meds don't seem to help). So it as gotten to the point where i can do much of anytthing , so i needed something to take up my time while see if this will go away or find a drug that will help me. Now to my story , a friend where i used to work told me about online gameing ( as i loved play board games like rish when i was younger) and i found EVE. Read a little and decided it looked great , so i started playing thought it way to hard to pvp with the way my hands are and not being about to sit for long time at the computer. So i decide to be a miner and build items to sale to help pay for the game( as i have a low income from what i use to make as a welder).Evry thing was going great training up skills in the industrial field and i was have a blast playing. The day i got a hulk i was this is great no more covertor soon i will be able to get into a corp ( want to have a hulk before i try to join any).two days after getting the hulk, along came mister pirate and killed it no more hulk. I was like wow now i am screwed casue i sold everything to get it and yes i know now i shouldn't have.So no hulk all industrial skills trained what do i do?will looks like i have to move on when the account runs out. my point is when the owners of this game are trying to get people to play this game they need to say it's ALL PVP AREAS , so that if you don't like to pvp or can't then eve is not a game for you. As i believe i could just be an industrail player ( and buy plex from the people who can't play much to make isk but have lots of real money to buy them). But it's fuuny that a player in a mmo driver anothier away and ues i have seen the pirates calling me a carbear becasue i said that was dum kill my hulk for what 10 kil isk ( that what the guy told me he got). From what i have read sine 10 mil isk can be made in lvl 4 mission by like runing 2 ( maybe wrong thier). I will say that i have meet some nice people in the game few days after that some eve gaem me isk ( i reurned it as i maybe disable but don't want handout). So what i am getting at is it don't make since why killa miner and the game loses a player?( yes some off you will say like don't need me, do a IQ check on yourself first) but doing what i was doing is fun to me. Also if say thier is a food chane and the casue player who likes to mine a build items to sell are playing the prices of items would be low , if they where all remove from the game would prices like go crazy, would be lke man killing the planton in the oceans and does killing everthing else thier . but anyway just wanted to say what was on my mind og and ty very much 94svtcobra/svtcobra.

Its a tough break when it happens, but at the same time, that's the beauty of eve space being an unforgiven bleak landscape where you can be potentially attacked at any second.
If you do stick around there are precautions you can take, mine while aligned to a planet or gate so as soon as someone warps in, you can warp instantly out. Another is finding an empty quiet system off the beaten track, there are tons of highsec systems with only 2-3 people in, your less likely to get ganked there, and finally mine with some friends, while it doesn't stop you getting ganked, it's more fun
(Disclaimer, I can't stand mining and prefer the building and pew pew parts)
But stuff does need to die in the game, it keeps the wheels turning. Nowhere should be safe.

So where is this supposed Hulk loss? I only see an ill-fitted Thrasher loss on your lifetime report.
OP should read this (among other similar threads). Note how a lack of knowledge and common sense is not the fault of Eve Online.

it was an in-corp kill, the other side might refrain from posting it so that he can either keep on joining corps or keep on inviting more hulk pilots
