I've been thinking for a few weeks now that it would be nice to at least see some concept art of the other 3 races CQ's. So far we've seen absolutely nothing. I can't think of a good reason for why that is. People like concept art even if its covered in work in progress disclaimers.
It has been quiet on the news front lately, since the NeX fiasco actually, and I've been eagerly awaiting to hear some news on what and when we can expect any new developments in EVE beyond nameless Incarna 1.0 bug fixes. This blog tells nor shows me anything new, and goes one step further in teasing us with that bloody door picture. Some players have been staring at that day in day out for some time now. So do I if I log in on my laptop.
Yesterday I was briefly excited to see a new dust514 blog posted (only the second ever) only to find that it also contains no new information.
I want to see some evidence that there is any more content for Incarna beyond the Minmatar CQ in the relatively near future.
I want to hear something about how Dust is coming along.
I want to know what if anything will be in Incarna 1.1 other than vague 'bug fixes and optimisations'. I also want to know why it got pulled from deployment over a month ago, or what took so long to fix. I never saw a reason given.
Is there going to be an Incarna 1.2? At this rate it will be time for the winter expansion before we see it.
The nullsec dev blogs are nice, but as yet they are not yet talking about features or specific game mechanics, they are theory blogs.

Originally by: Kaizen Sharx Hey, at least they actually want to improve their game. If a game comes out buggy everybody says "You should have worked out the bugs! What a terrible company!" If a game takes too long to put out everyone says "You should have released it already! What a terrible company!"

..as far as I'm concerned, thanks for the update ccp.
I'm happy for CCP to spend time on fixing bugs, but that doesn't mean they can't talk a bit about it. Or to just show off a few screen shots of work in progress, anything that demonstrates where the time is going and explains why we can't play it yet.
There have been some really interesting dev blogs in the past about tracking down and fixing strange bugs. Thats good communication. This blog doesn't do that. Its not really about anything other than to give a date for the much delayed 1.1 patch (and its a long delay that was never really explained). The rest of it is just padding, and people are tired of seeing pointless padding to make a very small announcement seem like more than it is.

It seems very odd that the belated new forums and equally belated new api key system weren't mentioned at all in the blog. Even stranger given that there is nothing notable in the patch notes concerning CQ.
I am actually surprised at how little seems to be happening with CQ in this patch, I was expecting it to be mostly CQ bug fixes.
