I am not sure if this is actually the appropriate forum but...
I am trying to grind my Caldari State standing and need Guristas tags. All versions for the data centre missions. I have to do this on 3 chars and not looking to buy the tags as it cost me a small fortune last time for another char. So basically I am asking where is the best place to find guristas that drop these tags so I can farm them? I have tried ratting, missions etc and not really had any luck with drops. So any advice would be great.
Thanks

Only place to get gurista tags is from guristas, without buying off market/contracts. If you need a a way to farm them, here's a suggestion.
Try to get several gurista missions active at one time from several agents, and don't complete them. Just farm each mission space one by one checking the wrecks for tags. The rats will respawn at DT as long as you didn't complete the mission and you can farm them again. Hopefully you can get a nice set of missions active and have plenty of guristas to pop.
Aside from that, I 'believe' the main rat type you'll find during exploration is gurista. I do know in Gallente space they're all either serpentis or drones. If that is the case, that is another option.
Hope this helps some o7

hello Tear:
- they can't be farmed as there are no rats that drop them reliably
- if you don't want to buy them from sell orders then the only real option is to put up region wide buy orders
Although the low level tags can be found on belt rats in high sec most of the tags come from missions with the diamond and gold tags in particular from level 4 missions. Be aware that many people do know the value of the higher end tags but you should still be able to buy region wide cheaper than going to Jita or the data center agents and buying there.

Exploration combat sites - Cosmic Anomaly, Cosmic Signature, Expeditions - is a good place to get Pirate tags. You'll have to complete a lot of sites since the Tag drop is random. It'll take a while to get the correct amount for each specific Tag type.
Can also complete the Landmark beacon sites and the static DED Deadspace Complexes that are listed in the overview.

Going to get guristas tags from dread guristas spawn, huh? Good luck.

Nice try.
Since you don't understand I'll clarify it just for you. I was talking about the regular Guristas NPC's that are always found in those sites, not the possible Commander NPC spawns.

DMC, they quoted the wrong post, the one above your post suggested that DG spawns in highsec always drop tags... DG tags though of course when the datacenters need vanilla guristas tags.
I used to sell Amarr datacenter tags, I'm 100% to blame for the more than doubling in price of Blood Bronze tags a few months back and even though I tried to crash the price on my way out there were some determined traders who prevented that from happening- though I know they're holding onto an overstock of 1000+ tags that they're not putting up on the market.
Tip- put up buy orders in the COSMOS constellations...
