Edited by: Kai Anninen on 21/08/2011 21:13:54 I have been having an issue and it has been a complete annoyance for four months and I am at a loss for what I need to do to fix this.
I have an Acer Aspire 7741Z-5731 only one year old. Eve was working great until a few months even before the station environment were implemented. I have completely updated all drivers from the manufacturer's website, uninstalled and reinstalled EVE just today. I do not know what to do now.
Every time I undock or jump to another system the screen goes black , crashes for two seconds, then comes back. I get an error at the bottom right of the screen that says Display Driver It happens on both user accounts with one has all MSCONFIG on and the other with all non-Microsoft disabled. I have run dxdiag and I do not know how to fix this. I have went into Device Manager and installed the latest driver.
Anyone have any ideas to fix this?

I have the exact same after Incarna was released, display driver stops working almost everytime I jump system or undock. I have the same display adapter on my laptop. I've updated display drivers to the latest I could find. Here's the dxinfo from my rig:

I can confirm, after turning Asynchronous Flip (Vertical Sync) on from display driver settings I haven't had single display driver crash while undocking / jumping systems. Thanks for the info, really saved my day :)

Edited by: Max Warp on 31/08/2011 11:15:01 Ok now that I have been playing more on the laptop, seems like turning on VSYNC didn't help, I still get the same problem with display driver crashing almost every system.

Thank you man. I have spent hours of looking for newer driver for my pc, that I thought it was wrong. I owe you one. :-J
PS: It was not enough to turn on just that vertical synch., I have to turn on also anisotropic filter. (maybe wrong translation)
