Mercenary contract
This contract describes the terms for a mercenary Contract for the destruction of 20+ POSes in hisec for a price of 2 to 3 Billion ISK per POS. Interested party please mail me with a description of why I should hire you (killboard, size of fleet, etc). You can select any amount of POS you like to kill .
1. Parties involved
There are 3 parties involved:
- The Customer û Rothgore û paying for the destruction of the POSes
- The Mercenary û XXX û destroying the POSes
- The Trusted Third Party û Darknesss û facilitating payments on destruction and resolving disputes
2. Targets to be destroyed
The POS to be destroyed all large towers, some well fitted (lots of electronic warfare and guns - some are very poorly fitted). The POSes are owned by different corporations that have no relation to each other. Some corporations have only 1 POS, some up to 4 POSes.
Serious parties who write me will receive a list of the type of POSes with their set-up. If we reach an agreement the Mercenary will receive a detailed list of corporations and exact POS locations.
3. Definition of destruction
The contract is for the destruction of these POSes. A removal of the POSes by the owner of the POS does not count as destruction. Destruction will be confirmed by a) physical inspection of the POS location showing the POS is gone, b) a killmail send by the Mercenary to the Customer and the Trusted Party. If the POS is removed by the owner without being destroyed, the Customer will pay the cost of the MERCÆs wardec.
5. Payment
The payment process works as follows:
a)At the start of the Contract the Customer transfers the fee to Darknesss (say 5 billion ISK for 1 x 2-billion ISK POS and 1 x 3-billion ISK POS)
b)After a specific POS has been destroyed the Mercenary sends an evemail to the Customer with the number- and the location of the POS destroyed (e.g., ôPOS #4 at Vuorrassi P9-M2 has been destroyedö) and in that same eve-mails gives a link to the killboard showing this specific kill
c)The Customer verifies this kill û through a combination of physically checking whether the POS has gone and checking the kill mail. If the Customer is satisfied he confirms the kill in an eve-mail to Darknesss
d)Darknesss then transfers the payment for this specific POS to the Mercenary and mails a confirmation of this payment to the Mercenary and the Customer
6. Disputes
In the unlikely case that the Customer and the Mercenary can not agree that a POS has been destroyed by the Mercenary then Darknesss resolves the disputes. He does this by checking the physical location of the POS (ôhas it gone?ö) and by checking the kill mail (ôhas been destroyed what was expected?ö). He then decides whether to make the payment to the Mercenary, or not. Both the Customer and the Mercenary will accept his judgement.

Want to confirm I have paid out 2 x 2 billion for POS contracts successfully carried out, and received the cash from Rothgore for 2 more contracts (2.5 billion ISK each).

Status 31/8: 2x POS destroyed & paid, 6x POS being attacked right now out 9x contracts awarded (incl merc fee @ Darknesss), 6x more POS being checked by interested mercs. Total value of contracts 85.5 billion ISK. We need some help of an interested 0.0 alliance to get some of the harder targets done :-)

Status 4/9:
Things have been quite eventful ;-) To-date in total 5 offending POSes have been destroyed or removed 'voluntary' by their owners.
We attacked 4x more POSes that were all defended by Pandemic Legion. These are rumoured to contain some 1 trillion worth of Titan BPOs that they are running copies of. There is no doubt we will also bring these down, as PL's normal tactics of hotdropping titans & supercarriers will go a bit difficult in hisec. Interested parties that want to up end PL, please mail me for more info.
On top of these mercenary fees for 6x other POSes are paid to Darknesss, their pay-out to happen after removal of these POSes.

So unfortunately he wasn't able to pay out for one particular POS. I'm not sure who told you 4, we were hired for 1.
That tower was saved, and will be saved for the remainder of our current contract with the owner.

Status Sept 9 We are happy to announce that Pandemic Legion lost 3 towers in Abagawa that they kindly decided to break up after being wardecced by 6 alliances. Happy to announce that we will now ask Darknesss to pay 15 billion to one of our merc friends for making this happen. Attention now shifts to other towers. Plus - 2 more merc corps are taking on 4 additional targets. o/ Roth
