Today me and my corp mate we did 2x DED 10/10 serpentis shipyard set-up was 1x nighthawk (tank) 1x Harbinger 1x Basilisk all players maxed skilled in their ships,
We made a tidy profit doing them today, now were are thinking how can we be more self-sufficient going deeper into 0.0 to do more exploration plex's.
our problem at the moment is the logistics side is to how to get our combat ships out there where there are no stations to dock in, get people into there ships complete the site and move on?
any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers Ombaka

Personally I would go with:-
1 x Tengu set up for DPS and logistics 1 x Tengu Tank with probes and cloaky and Bubble immune 1 x Legion
the tank tengu acts as scanner and scout, the other two provide DPS and logistics.

None of us can fly the T3 cruisers, wouldnt take us long to get all skills to level 4 something like 4 days each, we were thinking of maybe having cyno in a carrier with our ships when we find a good site to run,
but we are not sure how good a carrier would be as a mobile base for ships and ammo etc, as we can all use cov-ops for scanning purposes.
what is the average price for a tengu 500 mill inc sub systems and mods?

A carrier wouldn't be a bad idea so long as you don't mind losing cyno alts occasionally. You shouldn't have any problems with holding ammo because charges are the one and only thing a ship can have in its cargohold when being stored in a ship maintenance hangar, so just load up a cargo expanded hauler with ammo and you'll have plenty. Just have someone board the hauler, jetcan the ammo you need, and stick it back in the carrier.
Storing loot in the carrier is more difficult because you can't hold it in the ship hangar but 10k m3 (minus space for extra fuel for the carrier)in the corp hangar should be enough to last as long as you don't keep all the loot you get.

This, plus keep extra cyno ships in the carrier.

You could always set up in a wormhole with static nullsec exit and run plexs from it. I know a few people who use these generally un-desirable holes this way. The good thing is as not alot of people want static nullsec exits there pretty cheap and quite common on the sell forums.
And if you dont put in your corp notes that you operate from WH space it can give you an edge when doing a runner from the 0.0 blobs that may hunt you down.

1 : Get Cloaky hauler (Crane) with 3 giant secure cans in it full of any ammo you need. 2 : Fly up into the space your going to use, make safe spots in spread out area and anchor those GSC's in three different safe spots (and bookmark them). 3 : Fly up your gang, get into general area and log them all off (while nobody is in system) and let your cloaky scanner alt find the plexes. Once found log on goto said site run it and take loot back to Giant secure can bookmark nearby. Get ammo and drop loot. 4 : Train for a Strategic cruiser (cause they rock) and ideally once you've run a bunch of plexes and have a billion or a few billion in loot then put it into your cloaky/ nullified Strategic cruiser and fly to high sec to sell it. If not put the good stuff in the cloaky scanner and hope you don't get bubbled on your trip home.
Make sure you scout before you move your battleship around, scout with your cloaky scanner alt.
I've made $15 billion up in enemy space with this tactic, I used a Cloaky/nullifed Maze tank fit Tengu, a Cyno 5 scanner Probe that cynoed in my Widow and a Cloaky drake for some basic extra DPS. never lost a ship and only had the enemy try to setup two gate camps for me both of which my tengu/probe got through.

The mobile base works great. Take your time scouting your path, one jump at a time. make bookmarks... and fly fast.
