I once made a big corporate alliance application unlocking all the api information for hundreds of accounts. I relied on yapeal for downloading the incredible amount of data that came along with all the characters for all these apis.
Does anyone know whether yapeal is ready for the new api system? And if not, can people help me point out on how to keep such a system performing properly. I once built one myself, but it ran into performance issues whilst the amount of apis running in it was growing.
All help is welcome !

Moved from Corporation Alliance and Organization Discussion.
Also please be careful how you are harvesting API keys. Scraping is against the rules and may result in a ban.

Dragonaire (SP?) is in the process of making the updates. In fact there is a branch on SVN currently with the necessary updates applied for you to test. I would recommend reading through the API change sticky as well as the last few pages of the Yapeal thread and finally the latest Peeling Yapeal blog entry to understand the changes and ramifications to your corp app.

Yea, I kind of read that its a alliance requirement to cough up keys, but yes, scraping (not sure how you would accomplish this) or use of keys without permission would be a bad thing. Great thing about the new system is you can have a different key for each app and even use different ones for each corporation/alliance your a member of. Also, you can set them to expire

Yapeal is fully converted to new keys in branches/keys/ now. It'll be moved to trunk/ once a few more things are done but it's working well on the test API server now both in my own testing and by others. Check on the main Yapeal thread here in Tech Lab for more details. BTW Yapeal should scale even better now than before but if you want some additional help with understand how to make it work with lots of keys contact me through my Dragonrun E-Mail on Google Code or some of the other methods you'll find listed in the thread. -- Finds camping stations from the inside much easier.
