I'm tired of being told "somewhere in the near future". In business, one of the first things you are supposed to do when you sit down to get something done, having knowledge of what it is and the resources at your disposal is say "So how long, realistically, can we get this done in?". If you can't do that, you haven't started working on it yet.

In business also wording like "somewhere in the near future" basically means "never".
I not even hope for old hangar spinning to return. Incursion was by far more attractive then Incarna not only because of the ship spinning thing. I started playing the game on Incursion. And for some reason I liked it much more then this Incarna game. It's not CQ or MT related even. Incursion had it's atmosphere of sci-fi game. Incarna has none. Just a personal impression.

99/100 people hate CQ, if they dont hate it they rather have old hanger back with the option to enter CQ when they want.
till then, like the other players in eve press esc go to display settings, and uncheck "load station environment" to fix the bug known as "captains quarters" Eve online next expansion details |

I got sick of waiting so went for a hardware solution.
I put all my monitors on arms and just spin the entire monitor. Makes me a bit dizzy but it works well.

They will give it back to us when they are done with CQ and ship balancing. Which is well.....never. Wouldn't surprise me if that 1 room was all we get out of CQ TBH.

To activate ship spinner you have to receive 10 000 likes in new forum.
When you hit 10 000, you will receive personal code which you can consume in NeX store and receive old hangar access with only 30000 aurum.
This story is true. Good luck with the likes hunt.

Enable CQ. Walk to the end of the balcony and enjoy. Your ship is spinning.
If you mean when will they put the old system back, NEVER. They did say they were going to put back some iteration of it. And the release of that was winter expansion at the earliest.

Nah! they'll get to it after they have finished faffing about with Dust and WoD. So actually on second thought you might be right, never might be precisely when.

It's more than what you can do with the wall, and more fulfilling than a completed Incarna.

I have to agree here on this. About the only time I hear gripes about CQ is here on the forums. Ok, CQ is a vanity mode. I happen to like it so far and it's not even done yet. If you don't like CQ, you have an option to turned the blasted thing off. Whining like a 2 year old and holding your breath about it is an option too, I suppose. But think about how that makes you look to a newer player (ie, me)

Why is ship spinning important?
We still get players who can't cope with much else. So it's essentially it's like those special seats at the front of the bus.
I can post on a forum, therefor I speak for every player.

Hum let me see, maybe because many times people just wanted to get in the station and resupply and get out to keep fighting without needing to wait for that freakin loading screen once CCP also remove "the door" as well?
Or may be because people want to have a good look at where those guns have put on their ship while still the hanger and the ship fitting window are just sooooo freakin small that people can barely see a thing?
Or maybe because people just want to find a way to try not to set their new display card on fire?

So you can tell what ship your in instantly
So you can double click your ship to access your cargo hold
So you can access all the right click options on your ship without having to open the ships folder
to have an actual functional environment that isn't an avatar for people who aren't interested, I mean the alternate was a static image?
So when you are stuck in the station with sweet fa to do you can keep yourself amused (not a design feature, but not all loved things are functional). ______

Ship spinning or the old hanger view had some functionality that made things easier and quicker. Removing this only caused extra steps to be taken in order to achieve the same thing. Not only that but ship spinning was fun for those who did a lot of chatting and socializing in game. It gave those with ADD something to do. I personally did ship spinning like crazy when I had to spend most of my time in station dealing with diplo **** and running a corp/alliance. Now theres nothing.
