Yes, and not only that, but the fleet will warp at the warp speed of the slowest ship, so you all land at the destination at the same time. --- ISD IonCharge Lt. Commander ISD STAR |

I had wondered that, too, especially in cases where a fleet is in a "safe" and aligned to something, and the faster ships are all strung out ahead of the slower ones.
Everyone all lands at the same spot at (roughly) the same time? Good to know. |

This comes with the proviso that everyone is past critical speed for warp as well (3/4 speed bar, give or take). If you are aligned but not up to speed (A freighter within a battleship escort, for example), you'll not warp with everyone else.

Are you sure about that? I know that my ships will enter warp and accelerate at the same rate, but once each of them hits their individual maximum warp speed, that's as fast as they go. This is also the reason for Logistics hulls having their maximum warp speed upgraded.

I am completely sure about it. Try flying a fleet interceptor, and watch it glide at 3 AU/S because someone had a rapier in fleet. _______________________ The best thing in EvE is Barrage M. |

Anyone who has ever done the old freighter runs will testify that the whole fleet/gang will have the exact same warp speed as the slowest ship that got "caught" by the gang warp command. The specific Logistics warp change is probably to have them arrive on site a bit earlier as they normally don't warp straight in with the rest, they tend to use their own warp range/target.

All ships that warp HAVE to be above 3/4 speed (wich is the minimum speed required to enter warp. Only the ships that ENTER at exactly the same time as each other will warp together on the speed of the slowest ship. Note that entering warp is different then initiating warp.

I've had more than a few occasions where my fleet interceptor was put putting along at some ungodly low speed to match the align speeds of battleships.
In these cases, I entered warp after most of the fleet as the ceptor gets up to it's 3/4 speed.
I've still found my self put putting through the warp tunnel at a wonderfull 3AU/s speed if I didn't cancel the fleet warp.
Gltich or not, I'm not to sure about the 'ente warp with everyone' requirement
