Greetings. Quick question if I may. I am looking to start ratting more efficiently and I do not have much to train for at the moment so I was thinking of training up for a Chimera.
Considering the skills above, what would you say I am missing in order to fly one decently? (for pve not pvp) and do a bit of sanctum ****? (atm I can fly dreads and I have perfect jump skills)

First off don't stat something if its not true and you do not have perfect jump skills, Jump Conservation is 4 not 5 but thats minor stuff. You have good jump skills, not perfect and at that over a month out from perfect. Your not really to far out of a carrier, your mainly missing a few drone skills, get your specs to 4. Get electronic warfare drone interfacing to 4, advanced drone interfacing and fighters to 4 and you'll be decently set up for a carrier. Other then that, energy emissions for cap energy transfer and same for shield transfer, cap skills transfer to 4 as well. You'll be good enough for a pve chimera.

minimum skills for ratting with chimera are some drone skills, because a carrier doesnt have guns. If you want to use fighters u need the skill for fighters at least level IV because below that your fighters terribly suck and you better go with normal combat drones. Ask a well skilled friend to jump the carrier into the right system for ratting, you dont need jump skills. The better you carriers skills grow the more drones you can use, also you want to use 1-2 control units. Of course you propably will loose your carrier fast if you cannot fly it right and suck with all other skills you need for a good fitting, its just the minimum. check good fittings on battleclinic to get an idea of what you really need for flying a chimera.

Usurpine WTF are you smoking? Did you even look at his skills? Wait....no you didn't
#*%@!*&%^$#?>}{+~* Battle clinic 9 times out of 10 is total trash, I have ran into a few good fits over the course of many many years and I can count all of those on one hand. Most of them are lol fits that people who don't have the slightest clue put together lol wtf fits. At that I have yet to see a single decent capital ship fit on there.
BTW a solo chimera should have atleast 4 DCU on it, if there is noone else around to get a remote rep going with for more of a pvp style fit, there is no point in doing less. As for smart bombs, don't put more then 1 on at max, they are total ****.....and I can say that from experience.

Usurpine probably did look at the skills - what's missing? Cyno skills and that's not needed by a pilot but *IS* needed by "a friend" to get you into a system -- a cyno alt. They just phrased it wrong, which can happen at times.
As for skills - you don't need 4 DCU to solo a carrier but it's a decent idea. Yes there are other considerations that can come up for why NOT to use 4 slots that way - it's a pilot preference gig and a lot may depend on what system(s) they'll be running in. Some tend to be a bit safer to run in whereas others... More folks looking to jump capitals ratting and that can change how someone chooses to fit.
PS: I'm not a huge fan of BattleClinic - not with Mining combat ships being "top rated" and the like but a bit of looking at the fits can lead one to decent fits - often rated "0" ones vs high or low rated.
