I can finally change ships and remove modules etc without waiting 30s between! stripping entire ships was a slight improvement, but still a real pain. It might seem like a minor change but it really does help!
i dunno why this caused any other probs - it didnt seem to effect me whatever it was... but it was worth it imo =D

Server side fix they promised to implement years ago.
Fail patch with little to no content they felt compelled to pad patch notes with new forum.
CCP=Fail!

And yes, the manual for the monocle did include patch malfunction prevention. You should have gotten one
