I was running a sleeper site, we had a loki and two caps on field. Due to a bad bump we had to log to save our ships. The carrier had a capital rep on the loki, each capital was in siege/triage with local rep running when we logged. There absolutely was no area effect pvp mod active (or even fit). The loki logged off in the normal amount of time, however both cap's stayed for at least 3-5 minutes longer than the loki. Both caps disappeared at the same time.
Am I missing something? I thought the pvp logoff timer was the same for all ships? What could account for the difference?
Thanks

It might've been that the caps had to wait for the triage/siege cycle to finish, but if they both went at the same time, that doesn't seem likely.

I've tested that before, the logoff doesn't seem to be affected by the triage/siege.

My guess is that something has to happen to for the server to notice the client is no longer there - perhaps in triage, the server polls the client for user activity less often i.e. I know your in triage, so I'm not going to ask you what you think your position is (or something - I don't pretend to know what the client-server chatter is)
Would be interesting to see if logging another character from one of the carrier accounts on would speed up the warpout by triggering some client/server activity that would allow the server to realise the client had left.

You should self destruct to deny those pesky sleepers your KM.
