Hi everyone. I keep flying Angels missions because the jamming in other missions makes me insane. What is the most effective equipment for countering targeting jamming?

Serpentis dont jam.
They use damps.
and the module your after is a sensor booster loaded with a range script.

Or use a fast missile boat like the Tengu and dive into range whenever you get dampened and take out the ships that are dampening you.

FOF's also work, albeit not that optimally.
droneboats can do it too, and they would be the best option if it wasn't for their insect-level AI. ---

Drones are as smart as the person using them, so you just insulted yourself. Put them on passive, turn on focus fire, and stop trying to afk missions. Problem solved.

So yes, technically sensor boosters are the direct counter to damps. But more realistic ones include drones (of any strip, but especially pimped sentries), FoF missiles (which, yes, are indeed even more stupid than drones), and a decent speed mod to just get into range.

Drones on passive are useless when you're sensor damped down to 3km lock range in the blockade or permajammed by guristats.

A sensor booster and signal amplifier are both modules which will increase your targeting range. Though I don't think that's the best solution.
In reality the best solution is probably to get a drone boat alt to tank and afk/drone in the mission. The next best solution is probably to learn which ships can damp you, and kill them first. Another solution is to fly a ship which can fly very fast, and thus reposition itself if it needs to get a specific target in range.
Sometimes you will be damped into only being able to target the bugs on your windshield, just learn to wait it out. Serpentes are easy to tank against and easy to kill, so that's how it makes up for it. . |

Find something else to hunt. Honestly it's just better to move given the option. Mods needed don't exactly work 100% against NPCs, and 200km perma jamming Battle ships are ****ing bull****.
