I keep seeing on the forums the newer players say its 80% high sec, and the older players saying its 80% 0.0.
Does anyone ACTUALLY know (apart from CCP)? Or is everyone just throwing it against the wall to see what sticks?

Me a few months ago:
7 characters - 2 in 0.0 (main, cyno/scouting alt) & 5 in empire (mission runner, market alt, cyno alt, fleet booster in training, random alt)
I would have considered myself a 0.0 player as that was where I spent most of my time, kept my main and made my ISK (mission runner was only for situations in which ISK making in 0.0 was blocked).
Yet 71% of my characters (and CCP only counts characters, not "players") were located in empire (with at least 3-5 of them in high-sec at any point of time).
What do you make of this?

eh not a lot as I was asking if theres a way that the player base at large knows where the player diversity actually is split. I hate to reference it but WoW used to (I dont know if they still do) have an add on that would tally everyone that was on a certain server and then give a read out based on the level/glace/race/etc of the person an you could see what the level spread was like for a certain server or if it was heavier as to horde or alliance. I was kinda wondering if any players were privy to that kind of into in this game or not. As to whether ppl ACTUALLY KNOW what the split is or if ppl are just bull****ting numbers for their cause

Well CCP could, they know what character goes to what account. They COULD figure out where the majority of the toons are and cross reference it with the accounts that own then
Theyre not going to but they COULD lol
