That 82 looks just like the P-38 with the obvious cockpit difference. Maybe the P-38 was fleet issue? lolz...

You know, I think you might be right about the Maelstrom; got to be the dumbest looking ship in space. Looks like a squatting dog when it goes idle. As for the Tempest, it is one of the ugliest in it's current incarnation. Think of the new model as some Matar Engineers with more time on their hands, doing it right. Much better that way. I mean, when they were slaves and rebelling against their Amarr overlords, you could understand the monstrosities they cobbled together to fight off their erstwhile masters. Now that they are fully in control of their own space and free to do what they want, you sort of expect them to get around to rebuilding a few things. Down with your idea; new Tempests for everyone! Rah! Maybe I was actually sleeping in front of my computer and dreamed I posted. Certainly, it's not there now.
